Abstract: This document explains a system of open pit slope deformation monitoring. After calculating data by software of GPS Solution and the system which bases on the signal of GPS receiver obtain information of every GPS receiver. So it can get GIS information of whole coal mine. If there is any abnormal data, it will report to the police timely, and directly control the running of coal miningmachines through PLC. Compared with the technology before, the system has higher automation integration, higher positioning accuracy, gets more responsive and provides more reliable data. It’s the best choice for long-term spatial structure monitoring and condition assessment.

Abstract: In the region of Hubei Shuibuya hydropower station, the paper studied the variation of slope positions and years to the artificial ecological substrate on Sanyouping highway rock slope by field sampling and office processing. The indexes which were measured and analyzed in experiment mainly included unit weight, water ratio and organic matter. The results showed that the distribution of the three indexes of artificial ecological substrate on the slope were different, and lacked rules to follow. The maximum of unit weight was the middle slope, and the maximum of water ratio was the lower slope, but the organic matter of upper slope was the maximum. As the implementation of ecological restoration project went on, the unit weight of artificial ecological substrate gradually reduced, and the content of organic matter steadily rose, but the water ratio was greatly affected by seasonal rainfall and fluctuated with years. Overall speaking, three kinds of indexes on the slope with the change of years gradually tended to the natural slope. It shows that the rock slope can be restored preferably as long as the ratio of artificial substrate is properly.

Abstract: GIS technology and fractal theory provide a powerful tools in the soil erosion study.Based on GIS and three-dimensional laser, and under rainfall intensities of 45, 90 and 130mm/h with 20°slope gradient using simulated rainfall experiment, Amount of erosion , fractal dimensions and Hydraulic parameters were studied from different slope positions, Which was up-slope mid-slope and low-slope, The results showed that the distribution of erosion along the slope was difference in different rainfall intensity. the fractal dimensions increased along the slope,It indicated that the complexity of erosion increased with slope length. Reynolds number, Froude number, Darcy-weisbach drag coefficient and the shear stress were the important hydraulic parameters to study the soil erosion process and soil erosion mechanism. They were showed the same or the opposite trend with fractal dimensions, taking into the erosion distribution and erosion development process, Dynamics of soil erosion could be further advance.
