Abstract: To be economical, enterprises confronting present intense and phenomenal worldwide business situations must plan and provide the best products and services and move forward their manufacturing maneuvers by typically utilizing Lean manufacturing practice. It is involved with converting materials into valued products by utilizing raw material to enhance productively and to maximize the benefit of an organization and minimize the waste. Green manufacturing is a strategy that reduces waste and contamination by the nonstop approach. This study points to examine the lean and green manufacturing concept and its integration in operation management. Operations management is a collective endeavor to adjust costs incurred with income to realize the most elevated networking benefit conceivable [1]. In this way, procedures of lean logic can play an incredible role. The present paper is a case study approach in the qualitative analysis of selected SMEs.

Abstract: The article presents results of the research conducted in Polish and French small and medium-sized enterprises referring to the context of the implementation and application of the concept of Lean Six Sigma. The research was conducted in the form of case studies, observations and individual interviews. The pilot studies led to the identification of the needs, expectations, concerns and experiences of these companies. At the same time possible benefits and the barriers related to the implementation of the Lean Six Sigma methodology in the SMEs were disclosed. The results of the research considered also the suggestions and expectations of the employees of the surveyed organizations. The majority of companies using elements of the LSS in both countries had difficulty with the correct use of the of Lean or Six Sigma tools. These results ultimately confirmed the demand for Lean Six Sigma methodology dedicated to SME sector.

Abstract: Researching on the factors affecting the level of credit rating in the netshop of small and micro enterprises in TianJin, the seven main factors are extracted through factor analysis; And then the paper does the regression analysis between the seven main factors and the credit rating levels, so does between each of the main factors and their specific structure. Finally, it calculates the order of importance and the value of impacting. So it can provide a reference for the network shop of small and micro enterprises to enhance the credit rating level.

Abstract: The paper deals with an updated Greiners model, defining its final stage, Development through Alliance, in the frame of actual knowledge based economy, and with introduction and characterization of its final crisis, Incompatibility crisis. The research method is based on analysis of SMEs characteristics that use concentrated energies technologies, correlated with characteristics of actual economy. This led to some elements of the final stage of Greiners model, which were developed together with managerial methods of organizational development as well as solutions to avoid or ameliorate the final crisis of Incompatibility, applied to SMEs, using the approached technologies. It was also identified a trend concerning small and medium enterprises (SMEs) evolution from Romania, which use concentrated energies technologies. Some generic development solutions for the mentioned organizations in actual economy are provided.

Abstract: The paper researches the relationship between the operating performance and debt source structure of small and medium-sized enterprises of chemical industry (SMECI) to select the 50 samples of chemical industry from the small board and gem of china stock market. The findings are that it is a negative relationship between the financial liability and business performance for the SMECI. But it is a positive relationship between the operating liability and the business performance. Then, by comparing to the small and medium-sized enterprise of service industries, it is worse performance for the SMECI. The reason is that there may be lower operating leverage and higher financial leverage for the SMECI. So the paper proposes that the managers of the SMECI should be reduce the scale of financial liabilities as possible, and strengthening the debt of operating, in order to improve the operating performance.

Abstract: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are important contributors to the economy of a country. In recent years, due to globalization and competition in the market they have faced high pressure to survive in the market. Lean production as a method of cost reduction which improves the efficiency has been adopted by many SMEs to survive within these dynamic markets. However, many failures of implementing a successful lean production system have been reported, caused by the inherent limitations of and factors unique to SMEs. This paper reviewed studies that focused on the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of implementing lean production among SMEs. The result of the study highlighted that lack of top management commitment, cultural change, education and training might hinder the implementation of lean production in SMEs successfully.
