Abstract: The emergence of the knowledge economy has resulted in a new definition of regional policy milieu. Under the current EU policy framework the concepts of region and city are the result of an inductive, exploratory cognitive process. Interpreting, assessing and designing successful territorial milieux constitute a methodological challenge for analysts. This paper discusses the methodological capacity of a hybrid theoretical approach to discovery and design of smart specialization. Analysis of strategic network formation (why the network takes a particular form) demonstrates the competitive positioning of specific homogeneous communities within the global value chain and can be considered central to the regional policy milieu. /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Tabella normale"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;}

Abstract: With the rapid growth of social media, recommendation for social activities is urgently needed to overcome information overload. Micro-blog, as one of most popular social media platform, has not a good enough recommender approach to satisfy users expectation. In this paper, we proposed a social recommender system using both exponential random graph model and sentiment similarity. Firstly, we built a good fitted graph model that was used to predict the probabilities of non-linked nodes. Moreover, we collected contents of each user for mining their emotions and select 106 features. Karhunen-Loéve transform (KLT) was chose to analyze the features of those texts. Based on KLT, average distances of text features were used to calculate the sentiment similarity. Therefore, according to the resort of similarities, we gave top-N recommendation for user. Finally, we studied this social recommender system on diabetes micro-blog. The metrics showed that our proposed social recommender system outperform other methods.

Abstract: Adverting is one of the most important profit models in internet world. With more than ten years development, internet advertisement becomes smarter than ever and RTB (Real Time Bidding) is becoming the major share in the whole internet advertisement. Under RTB environment, advertisers need more accurate and efficient advertising technology than before. Targeted advertising integrates game theory, big data analysis, data mining and advertising technology and helps to publish advertisement to audiences precisely. Social network is the reflection of real world on internet built on six degrees of separation theory, and it has massive users and enormous access every day and thus collects massive personal information which can help to improve targeted advertising. This paper presents a framework to use social network analysis to improve targeted advertising and introduces clustering and cosine similarity as specified algorithm in the framework.

Abstract: Weibo is a leading twitter-like microblog service in China, acting as the key barometer of social changes. This paper proposes an innovative model, which automatically detects hot issues on Weibo based on social network analysis instead of search-based approaches. Three stages are consecutively collaborated to discover the hot issues and each issue was presented by a group of distinguished keywords as outcome of the model, i.e., firstly self-revised opinion leaders list construction, secondly keywords selection according to a weighting criterion, and finally keyword co-occurrence network building and event detection through community detection on the network.

Abstract: This paper takes 31 leading textile and apparel trade countries or regions in the world as the research object. It constructs the adjacency matrix for the trade relations. Using social network analysis method, it measures the network structure of the global textile and apparel trade respectively from the perspectives of trade network diagram, network density, centrality. According to this result, it explores Chinas position on the global textile and apparel trade and interprets it.

Abstract: The research of improvisation has been become an emerging management area in recent years, the purpose of this study is to explore the hot topics of this research domain. Co-word analysis was performed by using the keywords of relevant publications in the improvisational field included by Web of Knowledge database from 1997 to 2012. The results of multivariate statistical techniques show that the improvisation research involves many fields including organizational theory, innovation, learning, entrepreneurship, strategy and change. The social network analysis was used to trace the dynamic changes of the improvisation research, and results show that improvisation field has some established research themes and it also changes rapidly to embrace new themes.

Abstract: This study used social network analysis (SNA) in order to analyze communication relationship between project team members in typical cases of Korean building constructions. Data was collected by conducting a survey from key members of construction project teams. We analyzed and digitized degree centrality by using Netminer, a SNA analysis program. According to the result of analysis in communication frequency, intermediate managers such as construction deputy managers were shown the highest and architectural designers were shown the lowest. With respect to communication credibility, construction managers were shown the highest and architectural designers were shown to be low. We discovered that intermediate managers and construction managers of the construction teams play important role in the communication of project teams.

Abstract: To organize the experts rationally and facilitate the sharing of expert knowledge, an expert knowledge map framework based on social network analysis (SNA) for ship-block scheduling is proposed. The function of expert knowledge map is analyzed, and the approaches of SNA based knowledge map building are introduced. Then, the network structure was analyzed quantitatively to find the factors that hold back the spreading and innovating of knowledge by SNA. The result indicates that SNA can offer the reliable basis on how to take strong measures to organize the experts, which can improve the expert knowledge map’s structure and the effectiveness of knowledge navigation and sharing.

Abstract: This paper used China National Knowledge Infrastructure database (CNKI) to analyze the keywords of water transfer project related papers in core journals from 1992 to 2011. Using Ucinet and SPSS software to make factor analysis and social network analysis, the paper discussed the status and frontier of water transfer research. Results are found that the allocation of water resources, water environment impact are the core, and that the tendency of ecological and the institutionalization including the ecological water requirement, ecological compensation, carrying capacity, water safety, water rights , system and so on are much obvious.

Abstract: In Grid, resources are distributed, autonomous, heterogeneous and dynamical, and resource management and scheduling algorithms based on computational economy are very fit for solving problems of resource management for Grid. This paper introduces viral marketing into the model of resource management for Grid based on computational economy. The model of opinion leader mining is applied to the management of customer relationship, and the specific target groups are attracted through analysis. By the basic idea of social network analysis and the technology of data mining, valuable information is spread on a larger scale so that actions of users form resonances and diffuse in the model of resource management for Grid based on viral marketing. In addition, search time of information is reduced for customers. The model of resource management for Grid based on viral marketing has certain academic significance.
