Abstract: The paper presents a series of aspects regarding the design, manufacturing (through Rapid Prototyping) and FEA analysis of an intervertebral disk made from UHMWPE. In the first part are presented the most used model existing on the market. The CAD model and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of the intervertebral disc (IVD) were made using the SolidWorks program. As a material, UHMWPE has been preferred due to good mechanical and biocompatibility characteristics.

Abstract: Using SolidWorks software to build 3D model of the smart sprayer cab, based on ANSYS Workbench collaborative simulation platform, and referring to the regulation inspection items in the static testing method and accepting technical condition of the protective structures on agricultural and forestry tractors. The deformation map was obtained finite element analysis the cab. The cab was optimized using the optimal designing idea. The maximum stress and displacement of the optimized cab under the same loading are obviously decreased, providing the basis for construction optimization.

Abstract: This paper introduces an easy automatic mousetrap. Solid works software is used for 3D model and structure design. When compared with existing products, this design has such advantages as simple structure, convenient and practical, easy to promote, simple principle, energy-saving and environmental protection, adaptability, high efficiency.

Abstract: Fruit sorting machine of weighing type was used most widely in fruit grading market, which study on its structure adopting traditional 2D plan method is too abstract to modify hardly. Therefore a new weighing type of fruit sorting machine was designed using Solid Works, through which the design is for stents, tray institutions, transmission system and sprocket shaft of the sorting machine was realized, and 3D model for the motor reducer and bearing socket was built so that the overall assembly for the fruit sorting machine was achieved. Afterwards,3D modeling, virtual assembly as well as compute clash and primary FEM analysis were carried out for parts of machine. The application results show that Solid works is beneficial to new agricultural machinery design, which shall shorten the development cycle and improve the design quality.

Abstract: This paper deals with the design of wheeled mobile robot that will able to climb an obstacle and describes the fuzzy logic control of the obstacle climbing of the robot. The controller is 2 input and single output system. The controller is simulated in Mat lab. The 3D model of the mobile robot with eight wheels was designed using solid works and fabricated. The simulated result is compared with actual result.
