Abstract: This paper investigated the effects of two-step solution heat treatment of aluminum alloy for lightweight automotive on mechanical properties. Solution heat treatments in this study are applied to improve of mechanical properties through a single-step and two-step solution heat treatment. The microstructure of AlSiCu casting specimen represents a typical dendrite structure having a secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) of 40 um. In addition to the Al matrix, a large amount of coarsen eutectic Si, Al2Cu intermetallic phases and Fe-rich phases are identified. After solution heat treatment, the mechanical properties of two-step solution heat treatment alloy show higher values than as-cast and a single-step solution specimens. Consequentially, the two-step solution heat treatment could be used in automotive parts to improve mechanical properties.

Abstract: The effect of solution temperature on the solid solubility, microstructure and mechanical properties of 2A66 Al-Cu-Li alloy was studied by optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and tensile test. The results show that with the solution temperature increasing from 480°C to 520°C,the amount of residual phases decreased and the solid solubility increased obviously, while the recrystallization hardly changed with the increasing of solution temperature. With the solution temperature increased to above 530°C, the amount of residual phases almost did not change. With the solution temperature increasing to above 540°C, the alloy was over-burnt obviously. Complete dissolution of the particles in the 2A66 Al-Cu-Li alloy was obtained after solution treatment at 520°C.

Abstract: The construction domain is an important part of everybody's life consisting of one of the major needs in the Maslow's pyramid: safety. The now-a-days complex, spectacular designed constructions imply new technologies with high efficiency and precise equipment. The paper analyses the optimum solution for the desired product by using the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) approach, starting by using previous primary and secondary information and pursuing with the solution determination. The conceptual solutions are obtained through creative methods from the specifications-the functions-of the improved product.Hence, having the proper solution that responds to the client's needs we can make the next step in designing the model of the improved formwork equipment.

Abstract: In the present context of the construction domain where everything needs to respond to the market requirements and time efficiency is an ongoing issue, the paper analyses the optimum solution for a sliding formwork. By using all the previous data obtained through PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) approach, we determined the particular solution. For this creative methods were used.As a future step, by having such solution we can design an intelligent equipment and make a step ahead in the formwork industry.

Abstract: Noise – as a risk factor in the environment – in case it exceeds the intensity limits it becomes a biological aggression factor, a medical and social contaminant with implications of prime importance in terms of health, work capacity and comfort. This research is an objective analysis of noise level and frequency spectrum emitted by gas compressor Compressco CJ 360 in order to identify and develop solutions for noise protection required for the establishment of the environmental conditions in accordance with legal regulations in the area desired by the beneficiary. The research proposes a technical solution for closing the compressor with sound insulation prior to placing it in the desired place, in suitable environmental conditions.

Abstract: Rapid industrial development and urbanization processes that occurred in China over the past 30 years has increased dramatically the consumption of natural resources and raw materials, thus exacerbating the human pressure on environmental ecosystems. An amount of damaged mountains and contaminated sites aroused rapidly so that ecological remediation for damaged mountains has become an urgent environmental issue in China. In this study, three points of damaged mountains in Jinan were chose to measure the combined approaches of ecological remediation. Phytoremediation for ecological restoration was employed under the assistance of lots of structural engineering measures. The obtained results indicated that a feasible solution always exists to solve the ecological remediation for the damaged mountains. Meanwhile, the approaches of remediation should fully consider their applicability to fit for the local situations. The remediation practice in Jinan can provide a successful case for other damaged mountains or contaminated sites.

Abstract: The aim of the study is to demonstrate that separation of solvated ions in solution of mixed salts under the action of external periodic electric field is caused by the formation of clusters consisting of solvent molecules and surrounding the ions. Such clusters have the dimensions of about 0.1 µm. The study includes the theoretical estimation of cluster dimensions and experimental determination of the external electric field frequency that gives rise to the separation of solvated ions. The results testify that placing the volume distributed electric charge of ion into dielectric liquid is accompanied by the formation of supramolecular particles. We called such particles “clusters”. The linear dimensions of clusters significantly exceed the first and the second radii of solvation (approximately 1 Angstrom) and amount to nearly 0.1 µm. At such sizes, inertial properties of clusters and their natural frequencies may allow controlling their movement by applying an external electric field to solution.

Abstract: One of the main targets in automotive industry is to reduce the weight of vehicle as well as increase the safety. To accomplish this goal, press-hardening steel and hot stamping parts have been used in car body. However, the possibility of hydrogen-induced delayed fracture (HDF) of hot stamping parts exits, which will decrease the car’s passive safety. A solution has been presented to reduce the sensitivity of HDF and improve hydrogen-induced delayed fracture resistance (HDFR) by Niobium micro-alloying technology. Traditional press-hardening steel 22MnB5 and new steel 22MnBNb2, 22MnBNb5 and 22MnBNb7 were studied, and it is shown that the appropriate addition of Nb is beneficial to the improvement of the delayed fracture resistance of the hot stamping steel, which indicates that Niobium micro-alloying technology is an effective solution to the HDF in hot stamping steels.

Abstract: Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the concept of sustainable development, its rules and regulations are currently being implemented in almost all activities. Principles of sustainable development concept is most often used in companies currently operating in the market, and its practical application manifests itself in all aspects of business: logistics, manufacturing, marketing or communication with the outside, which takes place between the organization and its potential and existing consumers, sellers and buyers, also between the organization and various stakeholders [1]. This article presents the essence of a sustainable supply chain, along with several examples of companies, that take action to achieve a sustainable state in their supply chains. In this article is presented the enterprises’ point of view as being the first tie in the whole supply chain. But their activities, taken in order to include some aspects of sustainable development, often have a significant influence on the next elements of supply chains, such as customers, producers or final users.

Abstract: This article presents the results of research, which was conducted in Polish enterprises, where the distribution processes take place and are an integral part of the logistics processes. Distribution processes were examined in regards of levels of green logistics being implemented. The presented results illustrate the extent to which green logistics is practically used in Polish companies
