Abstract: Stability analysis is a key proplem for single layer lattice dome structures. single layer lattice dome structures before the overall instability of member instability may exist, but in the current single layer lattice dome structures stability analysis considering the influence of single layer lattice dome structures node defects only without considering the influence of the member buckling.Considering the initial geometric imperfection of single layer lattice dome structures in this paper, on the basis of initial defects of member with initial bending simulation, and the single layer lattice dome structures is different to weaken the position of member and make the member buckling before single layer lattice dome structures overall instability, systematic analysis of the member buckling effect on the overall stability of the single layer lattice dome structures.

Abstract: The present situation of the UHVDC (ultra high voltage direct current) power transmission project is introduced, based on ±800kV UHVDC power transmission project put into commercial operation, the function design and application of GWS-1 remote equipment are carried out, the communication capability on IEC61850 is supported, the temperature problem of HP rx2660 is resolved, the GWS-1 remote equipment could meet the requirement of the UHVDC power transmission project is approved, and there is guiding significance on the research of RCI of UHVDC power transmission project.

Abstract: The loop controller of double position fully closed makes the AC servo drive system acquire a very high position accuracy and speed following which is hard to be achieved for time-varying parameters, load disturbance, AC motors and severely nonlinear controlled objects. For the system, the dynamic nature can be ensured by the inner position loop adopting PI regulation of half closed loop structure, while the stability and the immunity can be achieved by closed loop structures with the rings outside adopting dual-mode fuzzy control. This article analyzes the cause of positioning errors for servo motor and semi-closed loop structure. The article also explains how to design a two position closed-loop servo system based on fuzzy control by adopting the AC servo motor drive, the motor shaft back-end incremental photoelectric encoder to form the inner position loop and using the motion control card, the inner ring of servo system and the work platform of grating ruler to make up the outer position loop. Based on double position loop composed of three-dimensional laser processing gear, the accuracy of the three-axis linkage workbench position control and the speed following can be ensured, thus meeting the requirement of the laser subsurface engraving machine for high speed and high precision motion.

Abstract: Some particular and selected problems aimed at ultimate limit state and probability-based studies pertaining to lateral-torsional buckling of steel beams are described. Stochastic analysis of the ultimate limit state of a slender member IPE220 under bending was elaborated. The values of non-dimensional slenderness for which the statistical characteristics of random load-carrying capacity are maximal were determined. The stochastic computational model was created in the programme ANSYS. Geometric nonlinear solution was employed. In the conclusion of the article, the question of the random effect of the initial rotation of the cross-section on the load-carrying capacity is discussed.

Abstract: Using the geometric non-linear theory (The Total Lagrange Description) in dynamics we can establish the problem of the natural vibration of the structure including the effects of the structural and geometrical imperfections. The incremental stiffness matrix can take into account the residual stresses (structural imperfections) and the geometrical initial displacements (geometrical imperfections) as well. The behaviour of columns, frames and thin-walled structures is sensitive to imperfections. This theory and results can be used as a base for the non-destructive method for the evaluation of the level of the load and the imperfections.

Abstract: Emulsification of pyrolysis oil produced from plastic waste has been experimented. The employed cascade heating steps and heating rates pyrolysis process provides 80% product yield using waste plastic or recycles HDPE pellets as a raw material. Water-in-oil emulsion is produced ultrasonically and mechanically with Span80 as a surfactant. The emulsion stability was assessed by water droplet size and visual observation of any phase separation. An ultrasonic mixer is found to be more effective than mechanical homogenizer in terms of homogenous stability to emulsify plastic oil with water. For emulsion with 10% water by volume, the emulsion is observed to be stable for up to 24 hours after mixing.
