Abstract: With the growing application diversification in Ad Hoc networks, it is particularly important to support prioritization of traffic and ensure that critical data can be delivered more reliably and faster in an emergency scene. We mainly study on the improvement of statistics based multi-priority medium access control (MAC) protocol, including the channel occupancy statistic and the backoff mechanism. We conduct comprehensive simulations based on the OPNET Modeler and account for the success rate results with theoretical analysis. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can simultaneously guarantee high success rate and low delay for high-priority packets.

Abstract: Feature extraction is a key point of text categorization[1]. The accuracy of extraction will directly affect the accuracy of text classification. This paper introduces and compares 4 commonly used methods of text feature extraction: IG (Information gain), MI (Mutual information), CHI (statistics), DF (Document frequency), and proposes an improved method based on the method of CHI. Experiment result shows that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of text categorization.

Abstract: With the fast development of the theories and techniques in information science in recent years, a variety of new methods have been used to help scholars in other fields manage the corresponding knowledge. This paper applied the research methods of information science to psychology to analyze the literature in psychology cited by ISI Web of Knowledge, then got a better understanding of psychology science. In order to understand the dynamics of psychology science, we conducted a quantitative analysis based on 8137 articles cited by SCI or SSCI, and used CiteSpace II to visualize the trends and patterns in the scientific literatures. In the end, the authors drew the following conclusions: (1) among all the individual authors, Cohen J and Seligman MEP share the highest citation times; (2) publications like Positive Psychology - An Introduction, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), Statistical Power Analysis for the Behavioral Sciences have ranked first in the cited papers; (3) community psychology, clinical psychology, behavior, personality, model, self-are the hot areas and the frontier fields in psychology research.

Abstract: This paper presents an application of a new adaptive filtering algorithm based on a standard earth ellipsoid model in tracking ballistic missile in free flight phase. The traditional Extended Kalman Filtering algorithm (EKF) has defect in two aspects: 1) observation values applied in observation equation mainly include azimuth, pitch angle and radial distance (or radial velocity), without Doppler frequency; 2) Jacobi matrix of the system needs to be calculated, and high nonlinearization could result in degradation of calculation precision. In this paper, an algorithm used for tracking ballistic missile in free flight phase which is based on UKF observation equation with Doppler frequency is presented. The algorithm has been applied in hybrid coordinate system of the standard earth ellipsoid model (the earth is assumed as an ellipsoid planet). It has higher tracking precision compared with EKF algorithm. Monte Carlo simulation conducted to model ballistic missile in free flight phase by using MATLAB software justified the efficacy and the reasonableness of the new algorithm.

Abstract: Higher mathematics and Probability and statistics are the core course in university,There is a close relation between the two. By comparison and analysis of the scores of the two courses, this paper attempts to show that higher math scores on the impact of Probability and statistics, Higher mathematics X is in linear relationship with Probability and statistics Y,The coefficients for the two is r=0.541. the correlativity between higher mathematics and Probability and statistics has been investigated by regression analysis, the regression equation between the two is obtained, therefore the quantitative analysis can be carried out. Conclusion: There is a good linear correlation between higher mathematics scores and Probability and statistics scores.Description the quality of higher mathematics achievements on the impact of Probability and statistics can not be ignored, for the construction of Higher mathematics courses provide a strong basis.

Abstract: At the micro scale, dense cortical bone is structurally comprised mainly of Osteon units that contain Haversian canals, lacunae, and concentric lamellae solid matrix. Osteons are separated from each other by cement lines. These microfeatures of cortical bone are typically captured in digital histological images. In this work, we aim to automatically segment these features utilizing optimized pulse coupled neural networks (PCNN). These networks are artificially intelligent (AI) tools that can model neural activity and produce a series of binary pulses (images) representing the segmentations of an image. Two segmentation methods were used: one statistical and another based on the physical attributes of the microfeatures. The first, statistical-based segmentation method, cost functions based on entropy (probability of gray values) considerations are calculated. For the physical-based segmentation method, cost functions based on geometrical attributes associated with microfeatures such as relative size, shape (i.e., circular or elliptical) are used as targets for the fitness function of network optimization. Both of these methods were found to result in good quality segregation of the microfeatures of micro-images of bovine cortical bone.
