Abstract: Finite element analysis methods were conducted to investigate the seismic performance of panel zone at the connection of square steel column and two H-shaped beams with different heigth level by using ABAQUS. Compared with the previous test ,which verifies the correctness of finite element model. The paper sets up a total of 11 finite element analysis models, The changes of the web thickness, thickness of beam flange, diameter-thickness ratio in the finite element analysis models are studied, Which affect the beam end joint load - displacement curves and stress distribution.Studies have showed that: the beam flange thickness ratio and the beam offset ratio has insignificant influence on the load-displacement curves. The diameter to thickness ratio have sharp influence on the load-displacement curves.

Abstract: The ABAQUS finite element software is used to simulate the horizontal mechanical behavior of steel frame-steel reinforced concrete lateral resistance wall structure and analyze influencing factors. The parameters include the steel ratio of shape steel infill lateral resistance wall, the axial compression ratio of frame columns and the aspect ratio of lateral resistance wall. The results show that the lateral stiffness and carrying capacity of structural system raise as the steel ratio of shape steel infill wall increase. With the axial compression ratio of columns increase, structural system has little change in the lateral stiffness, while the bearing capacity decreases and the torsional constraint for the frame columns is enhanced gradually. With the aspect ratio of lateral resistance wall reduces, the lateral stiffness and bearing capacity of structural system increase, while the ductility decreases gradually.

Abstract: Multi-scale elastoplastic dynamic analysis of the welded connections is conducted under the strong earthquake excitation based on a steel frame engineering case. Two types of multi-scale model are built for the contrastive analysis, and the plastic deformation of the connection section is extracted to investigate the application of the plane-section assumption. The results indicate that elastic-plastic status makes the column and beam sections not meet the flat section assumption. Finally, the determination method of the refined modeling zone is studied based on the application of the plane-section assumption.

Abstract: The energy dissipation device is put on the support bar of the steel frame structure so as to form the energy dissipation support. The structural performance can be adjusted and improved through the additional stiffness and damping so as to realize the structural damping result. As there are many elements that can affect the structural earthquake anti-seismic performance, modal analysis which is taken as the basic contents, is conducted on the application of the common support and steel frame structure of energy dissipation support and the analysis is also conducted on the influences of energy dissipation to the vibration and cycle of the steel frame so as to lay a good foundation for the analysis on the anti-seismic performance of steel frame-energy dissipation support structural system.

Abstract: Abstract: West Slope Tunnel's surrounding rock is broken. A positive step method is used in the reconstruction process of collapsed West Slope Tunnel. During tunnel construction process, heavy rain cause a landslide failure of tunnel (Located in DK51+175- DK51+195). The mainly collapsed area is located in the position of DK51+180. According to collapsing, we executed the settlement observation, cross-section deformation detection and upper crack observation. When collapse settlement is basically stable, the collapse is segmented to settle. The previous board of Secondary lining for the collapse need to add steel reinforcement and tunnel collapse cavity backfill C30 concrete. When concrete strength is expected ,it need to be excavated and must keep the core soil. The advanced small pipe is needed to stabilize the soil before the excavation section. In invasion of secondary lining collapse, girdle previous Primary Support and reform Primary Support.. Add I16 steel frame where necessary. We must strengthen the tunnel monitoring to ensure the safety during tunnel construction process.

Abstract: An H-shaped steel frame in fire combined blast loading was numerically developed in this paper using finite element method by ANSYS thermal analysis. At the first step, a temperature field has been numerically analyzed. At the second step, each element of the steel frame was assigned different modulus of elasticity and yield stress based on the temperature analysis results. A dynamic simulation of the steel frame subjected to a blast load was analyzed under such a temperature field. The failure modes of the frame structure has been discussed. Finally, a same shape frame at the room temperature under the same blast load was simulated to compare with that at the elevated temperature.

Abstract: Based on node test and finite element analysis results of four different structural form enhanced nodes, failure modes, hysteretic behavior, bearing capacity, ductility and energy dissipation capacity of nodes are analyzed comprehensively and comparatively for more in-depth exploration about the seismic performance of symmetric enhanced nodes. The results showed that all the symmetric enhanced nodes have full hysteretic curve and energy dissipation capacity. On the whole,The flange-plate reinforced node exhibit better seismic performance.

Abstract: Using the test and finite element analysis methods study the load-displacement hysteretic performance of the widened beam flange connections steel frame under the low cyclic load. Results of the research show that under the low cyclic load, the plastic hinge of steel frame with widen beam flange connections can be moved out of the beam-column connection welding. And the centers of plastic hinge locate out of widened arc part, achieving the ductile design goals that avoid the brittle break near the welding seam at the end of the beam. The bearing capacity of the steel frame with widen beam flange connections has been improved, but the stiffness of the column web domain is relatively lower. So construction measures should be taken to reinforcing the column web domain.
