Abstract: In order to develop the innovative and applied talents of students, this paper designed an experiment of composite beam bending by transverse force on the basis of the single material and pure bending beam .The calculation model of the simple beam bearing a concentrated force at the beam’s midspan was adopted. Based on this model, this paper discussed the theory calculation and made the corresponding experimental layout and got some experimental data.Compared the experimental data with the results of theoretical calculation，students can strengthen their perceptual knowledge for composite materials beams,and arouse their Learning enthusiasm and train the ability of solving engineering problems.

Abstract: In the experiment of the behaviour of the connection between steel beam and concrete wall, surface FBG sensor and resistance strain gauge were located at the same measuring point of the flange girth of the steel beam. Measuring results show that the measuring effectiveness of both methods is uniform. And the surface FBG sensor has the merits of using conveniently and non-vitiating. So using surface FBG sensor to measure the surface strains of structural members in structure experiment is feasible.

Abstract: Guangzhou Xita Project uses a special exterior frame which consists of huge inclining concrete-filled columns. To ensure the engineering quality and select the suitable concrete-filled steel tube column structure, two concrete-filled steel tube column structure experiments have been carried out. To ensure the quality of the concrete-filled steel tube column structure experiment, the C100, C90 and C70 high performance concrete experimental research have been done specially, and the result of the experimental researches has been used in concrete-filled steel tube column structure sample successfully. The raw materials, mixture proportions and performance of the high performance concrete were discussed in this paper.
