The population covered household in three specific locations which include Ayobo, Iyana-Ipaja and Ikeja in Lagos State of Nigeria. A sample size of 383 was determined using Cochran Formula. Statistical methods used were percentage and frequency tables for the study. The results of the analysis revealed that majority of the respondents are less familiar with cost/pricing method of electricity in Nigeria. The study also revealed that there is negative welfare effect of the recent pricing adjustment on households in the selected study areas. The study recommended that awareness campaign should be organized by the Electricity distribution companies and other stakeholders with the use of jingles, radio presentation or text messages to all household in their areas of operation to educate them on the pricing methods of electricity.

Abstract: Nowadays, the age of most transport facilities in Russian Federation is estimated in many decades. Consequently, there is an urgent need for periodic surveys and monitoring of the state of each structure, its individual structural elements. The main purpose of these measures is to maintain the high performance indicators of the transport structure, the achievement of which is impossible without examination, analysis and evaluation of parts of the structure that are in the aquatic environment and, as a consequence, the occurrence and development of various types and degrees of defects and damages. The most important conditions for ensuring uninterrupted and safe traffic along the bridges of vehicles and pedestrians are: the normative load-carrying capacity of the structure; required clearance of the roadway and sidewalks; compliance with traffic safety requirements for bridges; observance of characteristics and maintenance of the bridge capacity for the period of ice drift and high water; timely performance of work on the care, maintenance and repair of the elements of the bridge. Technically sound structures and their reliability can be ensured if all the parameters of the road category structure and the requirements of regulatory documents are met. The work presents the survey materials of the bridge. Classification of defects by group and class of danger. The results of determining the carrying capacity on the basis of the survey are given.

Abstract: The big challenge for each company is the implementation of an appropriate risk management strategy. Through this work, we seek to draw up an inventory of Moroccan companies supply chain. The objective is to identify the main risks, their relationship with the performance of the supply chain and to establish an overview of the risk management systems. For this reason, a research model was developed and concretized by quantitative data collected from 29 Moroccan companies. The analysis of the data show that the performance of the supply chain is strongly influenced by the importance of supply chain risk in particular the supplier and demand risks, and leads to insist on the importance of integrating a device adapted to the management of these Risks, especially in the upstream part of the supply chain.

Abstract: The construction of the Royal Corpus Christi College-Seminary in Valencia was begun in the late sixteenth century. The building was designed in accordance with the principles laid down by the Council of Trent and explained in detail in a treatise by Saint Charles Borromeo. In the present study a laser scanner was used to achieve a high degree of accuracy in tracing the building's outer walls and internal floor plan. The two most important of the outer walls, the south and west, were given special attention as regards regulating lines and different proportional relationships.

Abstract: In the context of global climate warming, Chinese petrochemical industry undertakes great pressure and responsibilities of CO2 emission reduction under the premise of national energy safety. From international experiences, green and low carbon becomes the development trends of petrochemical industry worldwide. The survey on relevant petrochemical enterprises summarizes the motivations, current ways, difficulties, and expected supports from governments in low carbon technology innovation. Based on the survey, the paper argues that technology innovation require integration of energy conservation, emission reduction and industry upgrading for the target of harmonious development of economy, society and environment. The choices of cost leadership, integration innovation, follower innovation, and industrial cluster are suggested when making innovation strategy by Chinese petrochemical industry.

Abstract: IP traceback can be used to confirm locations of attackers, stop on-going attacks, and take legal actions against attackers, and then impede attackers. This paper describes the background where IP traceback problem generates, and presents what the functions of IP traceback are. Furthermore, this paper classifies existing IP traceback methods and analyzes advantages and disadvantages of each method. In addition, future researches on IP traceback are proposed. This paper is of valuable reference for network researchers and engineers to be engaged in the further study on IP traceback.

Abstract: Protection and comfort are significant aspects for body armour. This study surveyed 102 prison officers in Saudi Arabia about their opinion on the current body armour they may use in terms of protection and comfort. This is to understand the need for protection with body armour and improve protective fabric designs with enhanced comfort performance for future soft body armour. From the information gathered via a questionnaire survey, the risk assessment inside the prison and the percentage of prison officers being attacked were determined. The results revealed that 12% of male and 29% of female prison offices were attacked and protective measures against this violence level cannot be ignored.

Abstract: Today, majority of the world population are getting more concern on products impact towards the environment. In many parts of the world, electric vehicles (EV) are gaining popularity with vehicle owners due to higher fuel price and lower carbon monoxide emitted to the environment. In Malaysia EV technology is still in infancy stage and many Malaysian drivers are not familiar with this technology. The two main objectives of this study are to investigate the Malaysian driver’s perceptions and awareness on EV technology (i.e. price, driving range, charging point infrastructure and cost of ownership) and to identify EV potential and marketability. A set of questionnaire was developed, pilot tested for its reliability and validity; and distributed to 300 respondents. However, only 112 respondents returned the completed survey questionnaire giving a response rate of 37.3%. The survey finding shows the respondents’ perceptions and knowledge were varied with respect to gender, age, educational level and monthly household income. In depth analysis of the survey results revealed that respondents with higher educational level, age and household income are more likely willing to invest in EV compared to those with lower educational level and household income. Their main positive perceptions on EV are less maintenance, zero carbon monoxide emission to the atmosphere and lower energy cost (i.e. charging cost) compared to fuel cost.
