Abstract: This paper explores the use of high-permittivity ceramic substrates in producing novel miniature ceramic chip antenna designs. Single- and dual-band antennas for non-cellular applications have been presented. Another aspect presented in the paper is creating a compact switchable ceramic chip antenna for cellular application. The measured results of all antennas are given. It is shown that presented antenna structures have very good impedance and radiation properties, features that are of interest in many mobile applications.
