Abstract: In the presence of alkaline catalyst sodium hydroxide, the intermediate of hyperbranched polyester (H20Cl) was prepared by the modification of hyperbranched polyester Boltorn H20 with epichlorohydrin. Then a new kind of quaternary ammonium functionalized hyperbranched polyester antibacterial agent (H20C16N) was synthesized by the reaction of H20Cl and hexadecyldimethylamine. The structures characterizations of H20C16N were characterized by 1H NMR. The application of H20C16N used as antibacterial agent of silk fabric was studied. The antibacterial ratio was 99.06% against escherichia coli and 98.24% against staphylococcus aureus. The excellent antibacterial properties of treated silk fabric were provided.

Abstract: In the current work, aminosilicone oil modified with long-chain alkyl groups was obtained by a series of reactions, and the modified aminosilicone oil was emulsified and applied on silk fabric finishing. The effects of the content of long-chain alkyl and amino groups on the finishing efficiency were investigated. The results showed that the surface roughness of the finished silk fabric decreased with the increase of amino content, and when the amino content reached 11%, the surface roughness of finished silk fabric was 40.9% lower than the untreated fabric. This afforded the finished silk fabric with excellent softness and smooth performance. The bending rigidity of the finished silk fabric decreased when the long-chain alkyl group content increased. Meanwhile, element Si was introduced on the surface of silk fabric with 18.93% element content, offering silk fabric with smooth and soft handle.

Abstract: Using amino silicone oil and fluorinated acrylate as raw material, fluoroalkyl group modified amino-silicone oil was synthesized by primary amino group and C=C double bond of fluoroacrylate via Michael addition reaction. The fluoroalkyl modified silicone oil with different content of fluorine were obtained by changing the ratio of feeding. Then the fluoroalkyl modified silicone oil was applied on deep dyeing finishing on colored silk fabric. The relationship between the fluorine content of modified amino-silicone oil and the refractive index was discussed, as well as the effect of the increasing of depth on silk fabric. The result showed that 15g/L of finishing agent can afford 35% upgrade rate of dyeing depth on colored silk fabric when the fluorine content was 37.32%. SEM, FT-IR and XPS showed that treatment of the fluoroalkyl modified aminosilicone oil can form the polymeric layer on the silk fiber surface with low refractive index, and the lower the refractive index of the fluoroalkyl modified amino-silicone oil is, the better the upgrade of the deep dyeing finishing will be.

Abstract: Recent studies [1, 2] were devoted to author's efforts in formalization of conceptual design process based on vast data in mechanical design accumulated over years. The suggested novel method of conceptual design is implying direct dependence of function and a mechanism intending to implement the challenged function, considering a wider interpretation for both categories of mechanism and function. Main aspects of this method relate to formalization of both mechanism and function, formatting of design pages for tracking the concept design process, formalization of synthesis and analyze tools and formation of design models serving different design targets. Effectiveness of those formalization tasks is based on development and usage of specific graph and matrix based mathematical engine, enabling compact presentation of various aspects of conceptual design method. The current study is aiming to disclose the specific conditions of formalization for reconfigurable as categories widely used in mechanism synthesis and analyzes. Formalization of reconfigurable mechanisms will categories is contribute a lot in effectiveness of organization of concept design. An example from design experience is considered to confirm the validity of suggested formalization approach for the case of reconfigurable mechanisms.

Abstract: A promising series of biocidals based on imidazolium derivates were synthesized to develop new antiseptics and disinfectants. Biocidal Imidazoliums with hydrophobic alkyl substituents and hydrophilic substituents were prepared, and its antimicrobial activity (AM) was determined by Minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs). It was found that the MIC value of the as-synthesized imidazole derivatives increase as the number of alkyl carbons increases up to 12 carbons, and its AM efficiency is relatively high.

Abstract: The Fe/Beta catalysts were prepared by conventional incipient wetness impregnation. The catalysis oxidation degradation of methyl orange was carried out in catalyst and H2O2 process. The results indicated that the catalyst and hydrogen peroxide were more benefit to degradation of methyl orange. The reaction condition was optimized. The optimum reaction process was as follow: iron amount of catalyst was 1.25%, the catalyst dosage and H2O2 concentration was 1 mg/L and 1.5 mg/L, and reaction temperature was 70 °C. The apparent activation energy (65 KJ/mol) was obtained according to the arrhenius formula, which was benefit to study the reaction mechanism.

Abstract: The mesoporous materials with pore size expansion were synthesized by hydrothermal method with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CATB) as template. The N, N-dimethyl formamide (DMFA) amine was selected to expand the pore size of these materials. The samples were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption and SEM. The pore size could be changed with post treatment temperature. The range of pore size was 3.94 - 5.83 nm. The pore size didn't increase with the increasing of post treatment temperature. The SEM pictures of materials with pore expansion by post-hydrothermal treatment clearly revealed that the resulting particles were almost perfectly spherical in shape. The XRD analysis showed the typical Bragg reflections of the hexagonal V-MCM-41 material by DMFA at 130 °C for 48 h in the post hydrothermal synthesis.

Abstract: A kind of chiral azobenzene was synthesized. The formation of chiral azobenzene was confirmed by IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy, and mesomorphic properties were investigated by DSC and POM. The reversible optically induced switching effect between trans and cis isomer of chiral azobenzene was demonstrated by a UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer. It was found that cholesteric liquid crystal molecular alignment could be adjusted by these chiral azobenzene.

Abstract: A novel metalorganic coordination polymer, namely [Co3(bpd)5.5(NCS)6(NH3)]n2H2O (1) (bpd=1,4-bis (4-pyridyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 presents 2D[3,4,-connected 3-nodal net with the point symbol (4268210)(4462)(8210). In addition, four identical 2D single nets is interlocked with each other in parallel, thus directly leading to the formation of a polycatenated layer (2D2D).

Abstract: In order to obtain the mixed isobutylamine /cyclopentylamine platinum complexes with chloride and oxalic acid ions as leaving groups. The title compounds were synthetised from potassiumtetrachloroplatinate(II) by the reaction with potassium iodide, cyclopentylamine, isobutylamine, silver nitrate, potassium chloride, potassium oxalate monohydrate. The complexes structure and component were characterized by elemental analysis, ESI-MS, 1H-NMR and IR and the anticancer activity were measured by MTT method. The results showed that its structure was consistent with the title compound and had inhibiting effect on the growth of tumor cell lines in vitro.
