Abstract: Successful professionals are expected to adapt to current requirements at all times and keep their knowledge up to date. The Smart Textiles field poses a particular challenge in this respect - in addition to their own specialist knowledge, the focus here is on interdisciplinarity and thinking outside the box. The focus will be on E-Textiles, the combination of electronic with textile products. For this purpose, a flexible Smart Textiles Experience kit called Flex‑STEx is developed using a design thinking approach and involving future users in the development process. This application-oriented construction kit is intended to help extend the limits of individual knowledge, stimulate creativity and provide the ability to initiate product development. A further added value for students will be a deeper understanding of innovation and interdisciplinary challenges. This paper gives an insight into the work in progress concerning the development of this novel kit.

Abstract: About 20 years ago, the lack of knowledge of the Brazilian architects about the use of rocks as natural materials was being commented which may have contributed to the problems of the stone coatings of buildings in several cities, compromising their original features and the beauty of many works. Professionals did not seek technological data on rocks and students were not instructed on such subjects in classrooms. The choice of these materials was supposedly empirical. Between 2010 and 2012 it was possible to obtain access to information about the contents of materials teaching in the architecture courses of Brazil, and also to inquire whether or not there was knowledge by architects active in the market on the subject, interviewing 64 professionals in 13 states from the country. The architects would be authors of architectural projects of large buildings and responsible for the materials specifications. Conclusion: there is no teaching directed to the use of rocks in Architecture in the country courses and architects never learned formally about such subject, fact that justified in a doctorate thesis proposal, the creation of the first discipline on the subject in the Course of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Pernambuco, UFPE, Brazil.

Abstract: This article presents the possibilities of education of teachers in secondary vocational schools in the field of robotics. It is possible to use the assembly cell with SCARA robot, which is provided with a visual recognition system components. The second option consists of the use of virtual laboratory. Virtual laboratory enabling projects to work with robots, NC machines, conveyors and other types of objects. The solution is a system for recording special marks under which a computer generates the appropriate object.

Abstract: Computers are more and more often used in training people. One of the most popular methods in this respect is e-learning. One of its biggest advantages is that the student may choose the best time and place to learn, as well as the pace of learning. Thanks to constant access to the material he may come back to difficult issues, analyze them again or comment on forums. It is a convenient solution for people who for some reasons cannot participate in traditional indoor training and therefore are unable to access the whole material. However, contemporary training didactics emphasizes teamwork skills. It is more and more often indicated that teamwork has an inspiring influence on the workers. It boosts their activity, co-operation, rational work management and responsibility for real effects. The article presents the score of an exam in Information Technology. The exam was taken by bachelor degree students of logistics. 160 students took part in the research. A part of the students learned the material with a teacher and the other part through e-learning. The research shows the diversification of stores of both groups. The aim of this article is to show that using not the whole e-learning system, but only its certain elements leads to lower effectiveness of education process.

Abstract: CAI is a product of the era development and the problems in the process of its advancement which exist in the understanding and the resource reserve are inevitable. For these phenomena, not only the auxiliary and order principle are supposed to be established in the process of applying the computer technology in teaching, but also the CAI's application value ought to be reexamined. The specific training to teachers of different subjects needs to be strengthened and the construction of CAI network database should be consummated in time.

Abstract: A hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) training simulator was developed to avoid high cost and realize intuitionistic teaching in the engine maintenance teaching of a certain type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The oil free engine HWIL simulator was achieved by the driver-to-the driven switch. According to the needs of teaching , the function of dynamic real-time control in different working areas was implemented by combining dynamic monitoring of the computer with real-time controlling of the single chip microcomputer. The successful development of the simulator improved the teachers’ teaching ability and cadets’operation ability, cut down the training cost and reduced the teaching risk to zero by indoor training of large weapons and equipment. Keywords: engine, simulator, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, teaching

Abstract: Materials engineering involves knowledge of the fundamental physics, chemistry and engineering of materials in order to elaborate, develop, and use materials with superior and new properties. The research, development and applications of materials are the major reasons behind the availability, cost reduction, innovations and improvements in all the fields of industry. Master's programs are designed to give you a solid (strong) education in the materials engineering field. Students entering a Master program have already earned a bachelor's degree and have solid acquirement of engineering. The program entails coursework, examinations and an internship or other applied experience. A master report is required to obtain the masters degree based on the researches during the stage. During a Master programme the students learn to approach complex issues from the perspective of different disciplines such as: characterisation of materials, thermodynamics, structurals transformations, technology of materials, properties of surfaces or initiation on research methods. By understanding the properties of materials, materials engineers create new materials with desired properties. Students entering a Ph.D. program have already earned a a masters degree in the field of „Materials engineering". Because of the nature of specialization the Ph.D. program tends to be smaller than master program. The international orientation of the practice stage approaches to of the Erasmus mobilites. A Ph.D. typically demonstrates a person's competence in research. Ph.D. students begin by taking courses and exams, go on to taking advanced seminars and preparing dissertation research. To complete their knowledges, they are continuing by researching, writing and completeing a dissertation thesis. The doctoral-level thesis, is the culmination of a Ph.D. candidate's research into a topic and is the major requirement of earning the doctorate. A doctoral degree is obviously a more advanced degree. However, it is long. Depending on the program, a PhD could take 4-8 years to complete. A PhD programs entails 3 years of coursework and a dissertation. During this these years the independent researchs projects are designed to cover new knowledge in your field and to be of publishable quality. Doctoral study offers the unique opportunity for an individual to develope intensive and prolonged research on a particular topic, which often leads to publication. The present paper presents the association of Romanian and French university teachers to educate students to prepare a Master diploma and to continue with cotutelle doctoral studies in the field of materials engineering.

Abstract: With the rapid development and mature of information technology, the teaching management system also needs to actively explore how to use the new technology to further enhance the level and quality of educational management. In this paper, based on the J2EE theory framework, it builds the basic model of network teaching management system, and implements the development of safety and usability function of the management system by using JSP dynamic management technology. Then it establishes the mathematical model of multi-level target algorithm, and the model is applied in the process of OperationDAO components connection, which has improved the efficiency, safety, and universal applicability of the teaching management system. Finally, the network teaching management system is tested. Through the testing, it indicates that the transmission of system data is stable, which meets the needs of the system function design, and provides theoretical reference for the development of teaching management system.
