Abstract: The paper presents some issues related to reliability model of a motorway telematics systems, in particular emergency communication system. Optical system architecture was presented and functions of the various subsystems, too. Analyzing the functional structure and method for transmitting information in a highway emergency communications system a method to calculate the reliability of the system was proposed. To assess the reliability of the emergency communication system, as a system repairable, availability index was also proposed.

Abstract: Telematics, the application of Internet of Things technology in the intelligent transportation system, has attracted keen attention of research mechanism at home and abroad. By introducing the basic conception of Telematics, the paper makes a summary and research on the technologies adopted in the system architecture of Telematics and put an emphasis on the solution of some key technologies.

Abstract: Based on the current driving recorder with satellite positioning function technical standards, a pure electric vehicle driving state data collection terminal is designed in this paper. Through the interface technology, the terminal reads batteries, motor speed, current, power and other information of pure electric vehicles that is different from traditional driving recorder data from traditional power vehicles, and then establish the corresponding monitoring platform. Comparing the content of telematics services with the traditional vehicles and pure electric vehicles, this paper illustrates the basic application and market of pure electric vehicle driving state data collection terminal.

Abstract: Modern cars are integrated with more and more electronic devices, controllers, sensors, actuators, bring more convenience, comfort and safety to the driver. Therefore, complex functions have much higher requirement on communication network, with higher speed, so accelerate new type of vehicle network application, such as FlexRay, Ethernet, and etc. Wireless connection could provide a convenient and flexible topology, transport protocol solution, also could resolve vehicle electronic limit. This paper proposes vehicle network system architecture based on communication, including three types of wireless application on the network, covering three major direction, intelligent terminal connection, wireless diagnostic, telematics and some solutions on the key points specific. Description in the paper is already built to specification, and integrated in the test samples of the related electric control system on the demo car.

Abstract: Anyone intending to manage transportation of the future must examine current developments closely. How do goods flow How can logistical processes be organized better with the aid of new telematic technologies and handling concepts Strategies to manage them arise from tests under real conditions and in the laboratory. Today, the reliable and precise functioning of telematic units is just as much a part of logistics as the incorporation of environmental factors. Therefore, under the auspices of the Ministry of State Development and Transportation, Saxony-Anhalt, it led to the establishment of the Saxony-Anhalt Galileo Test Bed. The test bed is intended to support developments and innovations systematically. The goal of the Saxony-Anhalt Galileo-Test Bed is to systematically support Saxony-Anhalt´s enterprises and research organizations that are developing new localization, navigation and communication services and products for transportation (road and rail) and logistics to create new jobs in these sectors. The paper deals with the research questions which should be answered.

Abstract: With the rapid development of Telematics and the increasing demand of drivers on vehicles, vehicle Telematics witnesses the great progress around the world. In order to improve the traffic conditions, some countries, especially in the North America, Europe, have carried out relevant projects of vehicle Telematics, such as OnStar, eCall, G-Book, inkaNet. The paper presents the concept and current development of Telematics home and aboard; then gives detailed analysis on and comprehensive comparison among the four Telematics systems mentioned above; proposes the three major problems (speech recognition, charging standards and service chain) to be solved in China based on the analysis on the application of Telematics abroad; finally reveals the prospective of Telematics faced in China.

Abstract: The paper discusses the key issue of decision-making support in the area of exploitation and maintenance of transport telematics equipment and systems. The scope of research studies in the decision-making processes in transport has been characterized. The decision-making processes model has been developed in exploitation of the transport telematics systems along with a description of its basic properties. The conclusion presents a general concept of the decision-making support system in the exploitation of transport telematics systems, its structure, capabilities, and the use of the proposed system.
