Abstract: On the basis of the analysis of the difficulties in the meteorological measurement, this paper proposes a three resistance measurement method based on the self-correcting technique, through comparing the relative size of the three groups of measuring signal for the desired measuring value. The advantage of this method is to counteract the effects of drift in the measurement circuit, which can achieve high precision results in the bad external environment. This paper gives a comparison of measured data. The method has been verified in practical application.

Abstract: The paper deals with the description of complex monitoring system for remote monitoring of thermal processes, concentration of toxic gases and dustiness of the atmosphere. Each of these quantities is measured and consequently processed by use of wireless modules communicating with supervisor system. It presents design of communication among particular sensors and further data processing and transfer to the dispatching center.

Abstract: This contribution describes the novel unique technology with the usage of fiber optical sensors with temperature resolution up to 0.01°C and spatial resolution 1m. This technology is supplemented with fiber optical strain sensor with pressure resolution 1Pa. Fiber optical sensors are based on nonlinear effects within the optical fibers, they behave as distributed sensors making possible to measure temperature and strain with one fiber in many points contemporarily during building redevelopments. For temperature measurements Raman scattering within multimode optical fiber is used. Results from real redevelopments are presented.

Abstract: In order to improve the conventional industrial brake temperature measurement and put forward new methods, measurement schemes can apply nanotechnology and nanomaterials to industrial brake temperature measurement, so that the researchers would get more accurate temperature field for analyzing the effect of temperature change on braking performance in experimental environment, and in engineering field, it can also measure and monitor braking process in real time to prevent accidents. In this paper, the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the conventional industrial brake temperature measurement, and then puts forward a infrared temperature measurement scheme based on nanostructured ceramic coatings, and some suggestions on the application of nanofilm and thermoelectric conversion nanomaterials in new sensor field.

Abstract: In order to detect switch contact temperature of high voltage switch cabinet in the operation of the cabinet, this paper puts forward a wireless measurement way to solve the measuring temperature problem of high voltage switch of the switch contact using magnetic field coupling idea. The temperature danger can be achieved in time to reduce switch burn injury. The device is mainly composed of temperature acquisition part and temperature display part. The two parts are connected by wireless data transmission. By test determination, the method is accurate and convenient to measure the temperature of the switch contact and then completely eliminate major accidents caused by switch temperature rise.

Abstract: Wavelength and other factors have a deep influence on temperature measurement system based on CCD image sensor. Deviations between measurement values sometimes are large. In order to reduce error, the temperature outputs in different wavelength combinations do have multi-sensor correlation properties in point of colorimetric temperature measurement system view. The colorimetric temperature measurement algorithm based on real-time adaptive weighted is put forward by such performance index that minimum of standard deviation. According to measured value of each sensor, we will find out the corresponding weights in adaptive manner. And discuss the statistical properties of the estimated standard deviation. Estimation unbiasedness is proved. The algorithm has the following advantages .A much smaller amount of calculation, without any a priori knowledge, only relying on the output of each sensor. All of these make temperature estimation be optimal, measurement accuracy and the real-time performance of the system are improved. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the colorimetric temperature measurement algorithm based on the real-time adaptive weighted improves obviously when comparing with the traditional means algorithm in measurement accuracy.

Abstract: In order to characterize the temperature regulating ability of fabrics containing phase change material (PCM), the test has been designed. To assess temperature regulating ability, temperature regulating factor (TRF) is determined. TRF is defined as a quotient of the amplitude of the temperature variation of the hot plate and the amplitude of the heat flux variation divided by the steady state heat resistance of the fabric. The test instrument presented here is intended to be used for testing steady state and transient state characteristics of the apparel fabrics containing the PCMs. This test instrument can be used in quality control during the manufacture of fabrics containing PCMs. TRF can be used in clothing industry to establish the criteria for comfort parameters of textiles.

Abstract: A temperature real-time monitoring system was devised based on MATLAB GUI. It improved the data processing speed and software development efficiency. Serial port tool box in MATLAB and Modbus communication protocol were used to link up thermostat to PC. Variety operating modes can be achieved in different parameter configurations. The software source file is 304 KB. Test results show that, the temperature response curves of different parameters configuration are quite accurate. The sampling interval was 1s and the measurement accuracy was 0.1°C.

Abstract: This temperature measurement system is based on the control of AT89S52 single chip microcontroller, with temperature display function. Temperature information is changed into digital signal directly by a single bus digital temperature sensor DS18B20, and the digital signal is sent into microcontroller for real-time acquisition. The results are displayed through LCD module 1602 in real time. The system is with the characteristics of low cost, high precision, stable performance and convenient operation. The system can be extended to multi-point temperature detecting system easily, and adding temperature transfinite alarm function.
