Abstract: The thermocouple is extremely wide application in temperature measurement. The active sensor has the advantages of simple structure, wide measuring range, high precision, signal stability and other advantages and is widely used in the detection of furnace and pipeline temperature. The author analyzes the theory of measurement of thermocouple, and put forward a kind of originality of thought. According to this idea, the author derives several laws of thermocouple, and finds that a simple estimation method. Finally, some of the common thermocouple method measurement results are given.

Abstract: There are many limits in the traditional temperature measurement methods' for high voltage electrical equipment. A wireless temperature measurement system based on C8051F340 for high voltage electrical equipment has been designed, which transfers temperature data by wireless communication, and optimizes the system's power supply for the high voltage electrical equipment's working environment. The host computer of the system analysis the temperature data from wireless sensor and can prevent the equipment's overheat accidents in effect. According to the experiment board's practical operating, this system measures temperature accurately, transfers data stably, operates with a reliable power supply and can meet the practical requirements.

Abstract: Beer brewing process has a very high demand for temperature. The beer fermentation process is the core, which is a very complex biochemical exothermic reaction. The temperature of the controlled object has a variability and uncertainty. Fermentation temperature determines the quality of the product. Therefore, we must control the temperature strictly during fermentation. The paper introduces the beer fermentation temperature measurement and control by using the DS18B20 temperature measurement system. Through the system we can significantly improve the technical parameters of the fermentation temperature, which can significantly improve the quality of beer. This system has a wide range of applications.

Abstract: According to the testing craft and requirements of CNC Lathe about main spindle box, testing system of hardware and software structure was designed in this paper. It adopts sensors, data acquisition cards, industrial control computer, frequency converter and so on as hardware, good data analysis methods, and LabVIEW as software tool, to realize real-time monitoring of main spindle box testing conditions.

Abstract: In this research, the temperature rise of the machined layer during surface grinding using a fluid supplying system from inside of grinding wheel is measured. Compared with the conventional fluid supply from an external nozzle, the grinding fluid is expected to be reached surely to the grinding point if this fluid supplying system is used. Thus the amount of supplying fluid can be reduced keeping the comparable cooling efficiency. Two or more thermocouples are continuously set to the machining layer from its back side through the small hole. Then the temperature change was measured during the continuous reciprocating grinding (round trip) with small depth of cut. As a result, even if the amount of the grinding fluid supply is decreased to 0. 5 L/min, the temperature rise in the machining layer is not very different from the case that the supplying amount is 10 L/min. In addition, by the result of the series of the experiments, the relationship between the temperature rise of the machining layer and the state of the supply of the grinding fluid and the grinding energy is inspected.

Abstract: According to a number of issues in the traditional temperature measurement, the multi-channel temperature measurement system based on virtual instrument is developed. In terms of measurement range and accuracy, Integrated Temperature Sensor TMP36, platinum resistance Pt100, and K-type thermocouple are selected to achieve multi-point temperature measurement, signal conditioning circuit is designed to match with every sensor. On this basis, combined with the technical parameters of each component, by means of the theory of uncertainty, analysis of the total uncertainty of system has been made. The calculation results show that the selection of each component for the temperature measurement system is reasonable, which can completely meet the measurement requirements.

Abstract: Dry or clean cutting without the hazards of cooling liquid, and the ability to monitor thermal impact on cutting tools in real time have been very appealing to the manufacturing industries. This paper presents the FEM-based design and analysis of a smart cutting tool which possess dual functions of cooling the cutting tool with the internal cooling structure and estimating temperature at the tool tip by measurement of the cooling liquid’s temperature at the inlet and outlet of the cooling structure. To evaluate the performance and feasibility of the smart cutting tool, thermal modelling is carried out by commercial software - ANSYS and FLUENT. The numerical simulation results demonstrate that the novel tooling design concept can effectively reduce tool temperature away from the tool wear critical temperature zone and sensing the cutting temperature at the cutting tip.

Abstract: The equipment for measuring electron beam (EB) focus in electron beam produced by the effect of extremum temperature of powder molten pool caused by the interactive effect of electron beam with metal powder is described. The principle of operation of apparatus and examples of EB characteristics are presented. During electron beam processing, the mechanical analysis of metal powder molten pool temperature following focusing current are studied. As a result, the transferring point of critical energy density described by the peak of metal powder pool temperature can be obtained. Based on the temperature characteristics of critical energy density, the measuring concept of dynamic focal spot of electron beam is put forward in the paper. The method of measuring dynamic focal spot of electron beam will provide a new possibility for 3D scanning prototyping through changing focus position of EB.

Abstract: Temperature measurement methods always including contact method and non-contact method, generally speaking, non-contact method used for detecting remote measuring objects temperature, in especially as to particular occasions such as factory workshop. This paper provides a system based FPGA(field programmable gate array)for accurate measure and analysis long distance objects temperature. The system could be used in process of industrial produce fabrication.

Abstract: In order to accurately get the concrete pier temperature field, this paper briefly introduces the types, advantages and disadvantages, development of temperature sensors and the composition, function and measurement accuracy of LTM-8663 intelligent temperature monitoring system. The system has high measurement precision, so we can measure the temperature field by it. In order to certify the rationality of test methods, taking a concrete pier section model as an example, we use the system to measure its sunshine temperature fields in different ways of embedding sensor. According to the comparative analysis of sunshine temperature fields measured in pier section model, we get useful conclusions and recommendations to be provided references for the concrete temperature measurement in piers and other structures.
