Abstract: Qualisys is a camera system designed initially for 3D record of body motion that is firmly marked with special points called markers. Qualisys uses infrared range of frequencies and the main advantage of the system is the fact that it records coordinates of markers and therefore the need of complicated and often not accurate image analysis is not necessary. The system was used for measuring of properties and strength of partial supporting structure of refrigerating racks and for testing of completed prototypes. Strength and deformation resistance that were specified by maximal force of safe structural changes was determined during the testing. The loading capacity of prototypes was tested using by the producer described and standardized procedure. Monitoring of deformation propagation in different components and also the completed rack was performed using the Qualisys system which allows continuous measuring over a period of loading and unloading. The results of tests enabled to verify analytically or FEM gained preliminary results of calculations easily and promptly. This work should contribute to discover utilization of alternative measuring technologies that are common in many other branches. The application of these systems may influence significantly technical complexity of some solved issues.

Abstract: Relative humidity in hot-humid and cold-humid area in summer is high, the sun radiation intensity is low, and the existing building thermal stability condition basic research data is absence . Select the region typical residential building, the sun radiation, relative humidity, air temperature and surface temperature were measured and recorded; Test analysis shows that typical residential house in summer in the climate characteristics the typical average indoor temperature fluctuation in the cycle is 4.3 °C,fluctuations of temperature to a larger extent, and was obviously affected by such factors as orientations and envelope constructional detail.

Abstract: For the task of evaluating the inclusions in the steel specimen under high efficiency testing condition, it is important to make it clear that what testing sensitivity the ultrasonic method can reach for a specimen of large size, especially a thick one. In this paper, this problem is researched and discussed. Before experimental researching, we simulated the focused ultrasonic field formed in the steel specimen by DPSM (Distributed Point Source Method), the frequency ranges from 7.5MHz to 15MHz. DPSM analysis reveals that the ultrasonic field of certain strength can be formed in the thick steel specimen of coarse grain, and the focused transducer of 15MHz is suitable for the inclusion evaluation of thick steel specimens. Then, with the help of a precise micro-step C-scan equipment and the 15Mhz transducer (13mm Diameter, 255mm focal length), the ultrasonic test sensitivity research work was carried out on the thick steel specimen, by the way of testing the inclusions which's size were as tiny as possible, and located as far from the testing surface as possible, and at last, the ultrasonic detection results were testified by mechanical dissection. The dissected inclusions which can be tested are grouped into 8 different grades by its size, it is demonstrated that the deepest inclusion can be tested in the specimen is about 80mm beneath the testing surface by ultrasonic method, and reflection area is about 0.02mm2, equivalent to a circle inclusion of diameter 0.16mm. In addition, there are some semi-quantitative relationships can be drawn among the grade of inclusion, the location depth of inclusion in the specimen, and the reflected ultrasonic signal strength from the inclusion, this give a way of evaluating the inclusion size in the thick steel specimen by the focused ultrasonic method.

Abstract: This paper investigates the ductility of SIFCON blocks with various structural measures adopted to further increase their ductility. Ten SIFCON blocks with various designs were tested using a compression machine to investigate their ductility. The variables examined included fiber alignment, confinement, perforation, and longitudinal bars. Results of the tests indicated that SIFCON blocks with confinement in the form of stirrups and additional perforation can produce better ductility than others.

Abstract: The injury characteristics of baby walkers were analyzed based on injury data about baby walkers from the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) of U.S. and the National Injury Related Products Surveillance System (NISS) of China. The main causes for the baby walkers injuries were identified by testing and evaluation, including insufficient anti-collision space, low designed static and dynamic strength, substandard outsourced casters and the processing technique not in conformity with the requirements for accessible parts. Such suggestions were put forward as increasing the anti-collision space, enhancing the strength of structural materials, performing stricter acceptance check for the outsourced casters and confirming the process inspection of semi-finished products.

Abstract: The optimization of the construction of gears leading to the minimization of dynamic effects and to meet all basic criteria is in many cases only possible by applying numerical methods. The models allow determining the influence of a range of factors on the dynamic phenomena. Proper experimental tests are often not possible because the number of options of influencing factor sets is very large. Using simulation models allows limiting the volume of experimental studies to the necessary minimum, and hence is beneficial from the economic standpoint. The paper describes numerical and laboratory researches on the influence of selected construction, technological and operational factors on the dynamic effects and vibroactivity in gears. Numerical analyses were performed using a custom-developed dynamic model of a test stand with the gears operating in the circulating power system. The models details were presented at the International Congress on Technical Diagnostics in 2008. The idea behind this article is to present selected results of simulation calculations and laboratory tests to determine the possibility of minimizing the noise and vibration of gears. Selected results of the calculations were also compared with the results of laboratory tests to demonstrate the high compatibility of the two test methods.

Abstract: In this paper, the methods of gas producing automation control transformation and related experiences of a gas plant were investigated. During the project, the equipments for instrument testing were transformed, the valve control system was improved, a blower converter was set up, and the DCS System was applied to test and control the flow of gas production. In addition, the plant developed the automatic coal-refilling system, the blower frequency conversion control system and the gas load balance adjustment control system according to the characteristics of productive technology and equipments. After the project, the automatic control capability of gas production of the full material bed was improved. The gas production was stabilized and the operators' labor intensity was reduced to a new low. Various technical and economic indicators were greatly improved.

Abstract: We need to track and detect all kinds of business when we prepare to have a test on the network in the Mobile Digital Multimedia Broadcasting System. This paper raise a way can parallelly test all the physical parameters such as RSSI, multipath, constellation diagram, BER and SNR of the service time slot of every frame in CMMB system by making a research on the traditional way of multiple services tracking and parallelly testing in CMMB system. On the basis of traditional way, we increase parity service discriminant moduleodd service parameters test module and even service parameters test module and make reasonable control scheme that odd service parameters test module and even service parameters test module test and receive the input data alternately in time ,that is to say, they independently make internal data processing, which making a good solution to the problems that the occupation of the system resource and insufficient data processing time.

Abstract: This research highlights the constructive features of Juniperus thurifera timber visible in the Western Mediterranean (from the island of Sardinia to Morocco). The use of this material is above all related to vernacular and traditional architecture, in the coastal areas as well as in the interior of the analyzed countries. An initial taxonomy of its use presents us with the issue of understanding the main structural performance of this type of timber, focusing in particular on its structural use and behavior. The results, visible throughout the research, are related to the resistance of the timber and its performance. On the other hand, this raw material is valued in vernacular architecture because of its strength when exposed to sea water or harsh weather conditions. Juniper beams and pillars are the most frequent solutions, but the use of branches and roots is also common, as the research demonstrates. In this framework, the text underlines the results of the research based on a geographical survey of juniper as a construction material, and on the first attempts to study its mechanical performance.
