Abstract: This paper designs a three-dimensional positioning scheme suitable for indoor, adopts Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) and the particular Symmetric Double-Sided Two-Way Ranging (SDS-TWR). Combining BMP085 pressure sensor to measure altitude, it can implement three-dimensional positioning of a moving object in indoor. Due to the complex indoor environment would cause multipath effect when Chirp signal being transmitted, this scheme uses Kalman filtering method to filter out mutative coordinate value, thus the positioning error can be controlled within 1 m.

Abstract: A three dimensional plasticity model for shear deformation in sand is developed based on the plane strain model of Cubrinovski and Ishihara [1]. The model uses a circular bounding surface. The model is hypoplastic in nature, rendering the principal directions of plastic strain increment different from those of the stress, and thus, allows for accumulation of plastic strain with principal stress rotation. The model uses the multi-surface based mixed hardening rule. This paper presents results from simulations under bi-directional (torsional-stress path) uniform stress cycles, as well as bi-directional stress-controlled simulation results, where two orthogonal horizontal components of a ground acceleration time series are converted to bi-directional stress history, providing a rigorous verification of the algorithm.

Abstract: In order to study the rule of deformation prediction of coal mining subsidence in three-dimensional space, it is necessary to establish a three-dimensional geological model. This paper introduced the idea, construction methods and key technologies of three-dimensional geological modeling based on block method and arbitrary boundary conditions by using of VC++ and OpenGL development environment. For the method to build three-dimensional model is simple and accurate. It can be used in the study of mining subsidence prediction and displaying of deformation and failure in the three-dimensional space.

Abstract: In the two-dimensional plane to refine core design of visual elements and will direct the important influence on the processing of space, space of display design also inevitable need considering the visual elements and plane of coordination and unity. The multimedia advertising originality and product value very clever combination of strong visual impact. To regard the "visibility" disorders, caused by the wrong is increasingly being used, to increase the rate of visual attention and increasing the effect of the ornamental interest. Plane outdoor advertising performance breakthrough in the plane of the two-dimensional space, create a new and unique visual effect.

Abstract: When observing the WWD-0.8/10 air compressor that was noiseless and oilless, its vibration and noise were large. These phenomena were related to air compressors reciprocating inertial force and overturning moment which were separately depended on pistons acceleration and forces of connecting rod. Movement mechanisms three-dimensional solid model establishment, virtual assembly and motion simulation were accomplished by Pro/E. The main procedures were introduced in the paper. Many important metrical data obtained about pistons acceleration and forces of connecting rod by motion simulation could supply necessary references for air compressors dynamic optimizations.

Abstract: The present work aims to study convection and heat transfer and mass in a porous cubic cavity. The configuration considered is a cavity cube with vertical walls left and right are subjected to temperatures required while others are impermeable and adiabatic. We realized that the results depend on several characteristic parameters, and general correlations are established for the calculation of heat and mass transfer, according to various studied parameters. The study focuses on the influence of the control parameters on the structure of the flow, heat and mass transfer.

Abstract: Seismic response of the Shidian basin to moderate scenario earthquake is investigated considering 3D basin model incorporated with real topography by using the spectral-element method and parallel computing technique. The wave propagation process, the generation of surface wave, and the impact of soil deposits velocity to the basin-induced surface wave are studied in this paper. The results show that the amplification behavior of the basin is the interactions of basin geometry and low velocity soil deposits. First, locally small hollows in the basin are apt to trap seismic waves and produce much stronger ground motion, basin edge and areas with deep sediments are also characterized with large amplification. Then, basin with softer soil deposits produces stronger surface waves with lower propagation velocity and higher mode.

Abstract: In order to effectively reduce evacuation time of pedestrians in emergencies, a novel evacuation model is proposed based on the three-dimensional cellular automation. The model, according to Moore cellular structure, firstly defines location income and estimates evacuation time parameter, and then gives calculation formula for moving probability of pedestrians at next moment. Meanwhile, in combination with the degree of fear and moving speed, evacuation strategies and cellular evolution rules suited to the three-dimensional condition are raised. At last, by establishing simulation model, the article profoundly analyses key factors that affect evacuation time of pedestrians, and finds that the evacuation time shows a negative correlation with the exit width, but a positive correlation with pedestrian density. Appropriate increase of pedestrians fear degree is good for reducing the whole evacuation time.

Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) elastic stress distributions in the vicinity of overlap corners of single-lap joints are investigated. A detailed 3D finite element (FE) model is carried out to study the intensity of the in-plane and out-of-plane stress distributions along the plate width direction. The effects of adhesive thickness and Poisson's ratio are also studied. The FE results show the presence of coupled modes at the overlap corners of the joint. In particular, sharp increment of out-of-plane fracture mode very near the lateral free surface of the joint is worth noting.
