Abstract: Two-dimensional electronic chart system can’t intuitively express the various information of 3D navigation environment, and the existing 3D electronic chart system lacks comprehensive display and scientific quantitative analysis. In that context, designed a 3D electronic chart system framework based on GIS and virtual reality technology (VR technology) and studied the key technologies such as visualization of 3D navigation environment, numerical simulation of water current and dynamic ship information display. Consequently, a 3D electronic chart system has been developed for Sutong Bridge section of Yangtze River waterway and it is verified to be feasible and reliable for ensuring safety of navigation.

Abstract: Aimed at limitations of traditional entitative marine hydraulic training systems such as encapsulation, concealment and high cost, three-dimensional simulation training system based on visual reality technology is proposed and implemented. Computer modeling software and Unity3d platform are used to create 3D visual scenes which include the wharf, ship, cranes, hydraulic pumps and motors, hydraulic piping and valves, etc. Simulation models can be driven by visual handle and pushbutton, internal movement of equipment can be observed through the translucent casing during roam. The results show that simulation effect is vivid and intuitive, the purpose of simulation training can be achieved, and it is beneficial to improve the teaching quality.

Abstract: This paper firstly analyzes traditional NC machining simulation technique and its flows. On this basis, it puts forward a method that implements NC machining three-dimensional simulation and emulation system architecture using distributed object CORBA component technology and OpenGL graphic technology [1,2], and details information about the model of this architecture, use Visual C++ as developer tool to implement NC machining simulation which is independent of platform and network.

Abstract: This paper proposed an improved method on the basis of the extended proportional guidance law. The method solved the weak observability problem of system sate in guided missile attacking maneuvering target. It is simple in form and easy for engineering implementation. This paper set up relative motion model and the observability theory indexes. The improved propotional guidance law is simulated using the MATLAB language. The simulation results show that the method is reasonable, effective and improving the observability.

Abstract: How to achieve a realistic computer simulated effect of plain knitted fabric was explored in this article based on analyzing the geometric model of plain knitted fabric loop. In Visual C++ and OpenGL environment, select the circle as cross-section and use cubic B-Spline curve to simulate the yarn path, then the three-dimensional computer simulation of plain knitted fabric is realized in its general condition and it’s shear condition. The simulation results distinctly show the intermeshed loops and transformation effects of knitted structure in three-dimensional space.

Abstract: Three dimensional simulation of the velocity field of solid-liquid two-phase flow inside the abrasive water jet nozzle was studied by the computational fluid dynamics software (CFD). The complicated velocity field and vectorgraph of the flow in the abrasive water jet nozzle was obtained. In the course of the simulation, the Syamlal-O’Brien model was used to decide the inter-phase drag exchange coefficient. The velocity vectorgraph simulation results indicate that the highest flow speed is occurred at the inlet of the mixing chamber and the flow speed is gradually decreased along the direction of the nozzle axis and got to the lowest speed at the outlet of the nozzle. And also the flow speed in the cross section of the mixing chamber is gradually reduced along the radial direction of the cross section and got to the lowest speed in the verge of the chamber. The comparison of simulation result for the velocity field of water and abrasive exhibits that the velocity of water in the mixing chamber is three or four times higher than that of abrasive.
