Abstract: Since the infrared image has the problem of poor contrast, edge blur, low noise ratio, noisy and other shortcomings, this paper presents an improved threshold denoising algorithm based on curvelet transform, using a combination of hard and soft threshold methods to form a new threshold based functions. Compare to the conventional hard threshold, soft threshold, de-noising based on wavelet transform method, the proposed denoising method can obtain better PSNR and visual characteristics, retain more details

Abstract: The temperature of transmission line is an important parameter in the condition monitoring system on transmission line and its measured value is affected by the state of sensors. General regression neural network (GRNN) was used to construct an auto-detection network for temperature sensors of transmission line. Optimizing design of network, error controlling and effect testing were studied, and also a method of threshold for sensor detection was advanced. The network is verified by practical data from a 220kv transmission line in Sichuan Province and is proved to be with good value of engineering application for sensor state detection of unit.

Abstract: The popularity of Internet application makes web page illegal information filtering an important work. Based on mutual information model study of illegal information filtering in web page, this article first elaborated the theoretical basis of mutual information filtering algorithm, then designed a mutual information filtering algorithm based on improved formula, and designed and implemented illegal web page filtering system by using the algorithm and related technology and did a series of experiments, which effectively reduced the impact of negative factors on healthy development of network culture industry, and it is advantageous to the purification of social morality and social stability.

Abstract: In the paper we analyse the character of spatial boundaries of buildings and examine their correlation with social changes. For a case study we use Holesovice, a quarter of Prague, Czech Republic. This city part is a typical example of originally industrial suburb with a large number of factories, docks and railway station, all built mainly in 19. century. In the last 15 years the area has gone through gentrification that significantly changed its urban and architectural face. The transformation also affected the character of services and cultural facilities available in the area. We compare boundaries of the original construction and boundaries of the new developments built in the last 15 years. The analysis is done at the scale of buildings. Our methodological framework is based on the Space Syntax theory and Urban Morphology. The studied characteristics are integration of accessible spaces and design of boundaries. The paper identifies urban and architectural features that correspond and reflect the lifestyle of the gentrified part of population.

Abstract: In this paper, we proposed two improved methods for impulse noise of image. Firstly we propose an improved multiple extreme value examine for pixels for pixels. Secondly we propose a variable threshold ,a point-set composed with prior pixels was proposed to determine the threshold value. The approach makes noise well-detected and can reduce lost and false noise relatively. Experiments confirm the validity and effectiveness of the method , and has the less computation.

Abstract: Fatigue crack propagation is studied in thin wires of about 1 mm in diameter of an ultrahigh strength steel (σmax> 2400MPa) in ambient air and in air with controlled residual humidity. A specific equipment is developed based on an electro-dynamic testing machine equipped with an environmental chamber for air humidity control. Threshold tests are run using a load shedding procedure specifically adapted to the specimen size. The relation between load ratio and crack closure is evaluated from constant Kmax tests. The results are discussed on the basis of fracture surface observations and of existing modelling for environmentally assisted fatigue crack propagation.

Abstract: This paper proposes dynamic threshold control algorithm by Co-evolutionary implementation base on a multidirectional gradient edge detection predictor (MGEDP) template. First, the image cut into four equal parts, these parts will be calculate simultaneously the error values by MGEDP predictor template, in the four sub images using, dynamic threshold evolution; Use these feedback values, to get the error image, and to calculate the threshold values by collaborative computing OTSU threshold, and so on, to classify the edges of error image, The result was convinced that this model could not only accelerated the image processing by Co-evolutionary implementation but get the more details, clearer edges, and better visual sense image.

Abstract: How to identify and remove the noise of the dam monitoring data is an important work of dam safety-monitoring. The article makes use of a new compromise thres-holding method to de-noise the dam horizontal dam crack width. Afterwards, the article uses the Markov correction model to predict the crack width of the dam body based on the de-nosing data. In order to identify the effectiveness of the model, the article makes a comparison between the results of the above method with that of the multiple regression method. And the results show that the method of the article is of effective.

Abstract: In the second half of the last century, the automobile industries were affected from the petroleum crisis caused mainly by the wars in the Middle East. These crises led the automakers reconsider their vehicles. One of the most important events after that was the adoption of new steels by the industry. One example is the TRIP steels (Transformation-induced plasticity). In this work, a specimen of TRIP steels was etched using LePera reagent. The obtained images were analyzed using digital processing. Using the ImageJ software the methods threshold and watershed were studied. The methods were compared: the morphological characteristics and volumetric fraction of the retained austenite and martensite phases were analyzed. The results showed that the threshold led to a higher number of identified grains with lower mean area and total area fraction than the watershed method.
