Abstract: Service-oriented manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing mode focused on integrating service with manufacturing. The remarkable importance is known to be strongly associated with the development of service-oriented economy in the period in which China transfers the traditional equipment manufacturing industry to the service-oriented manufacturing. We take a close insight into basic theories of service-oriented manufacturing, and then we analyze the characteristics, profiles, as well as the present situation of the equipment manufacturing. Finally, we propose some countermeasures for transferring the equipment manufacturing to the service-oriented manufacturing from the views of the aggregation mechanism, the network of innovative mechanism and manufacturing value-added chain.

Abstract: Direct Numerical Simulation(DNS) was carried out for laminar-turbulent transition of an incompressible boundary layer on a flat plate based on disturbance Navier-Stokes(N-S) equation in spatial mode with Massage Passing Interface(MPI) technology. Study on breakdown mechanism of laminar-turbulent transition was carried on. The effect of mean flow distortion on the process of breakdown in laminar-turbulent transition was investigated. Results indicate that change of instability characteristic of mean flow profile plays a key role during process of breakdown.

Abstract: Land finance pushed up house prices, fueled the real estate speculation, caused the local government financial risk, and buried the hidden danger in macro economic stability. This situation must be reformed. The research method is literature analysis. The result shows: in order to lessen the negative effects of land finance, we should deepen and perfect the reform of fiscal and taxation systems, divide financial power and responsibility reasonably, look for alternative sources of revenue actively, and reform tax system. At the same time, it must be done to change land assets management mode, break the local government’s monopoly of the land, and thus eliminate the local government impulse of selling land to raise funds.

Abstract: Four transitions of a new high speed on/off valve are investigated. Energy losses passing through the on/off valve are analyzed. The useful mathematical equations of energy losses related to the geometric parameters of the on/off valve and hydraulic system parameters are deduced. How to decrease energy losses in the design of the on/off valve is discussed.

Abstract: Traditional photo viewer can not provide 3D relationships of geometry scene between two photos. This paper presents a novel photo viewer using geometry method, and the only preparation work of our method is computing photos’ geometry information in advance. Our method first computed morphing matrixes from geometry information. We then constructed a camera motion using cosine function. Next, the morphing matrixes and camera motion were combined to draw a double-layer transition between two photos. Lastly, we demonstrated our photo viewer on a series of photos in campus. The results of a user study show that the experience of photo browsing is greatly enhanced with the proposed photo viewer.

Abstract: Fretting is now fully identified as a small amplitude oscillatory motion which induces a harmonic tangential force between two surfaces in contact. It is related to three main loadings, i.e. fretting-wear, fretting-fatigue and fretting corrosion. Fretting regimes were first mapped by Vingsbo. In a similar way, three fretting regimes will be considered: stick regime, slip regime and mixed regime. The mixed regime was made up of initial gross slip followed by partial slip condition after a few hundred cycles. Obviously the partial slip transition develops the highest stress levels which can induce fatigue crack nucleation depending on the fatigue properties of the two contacting first bodies. Therefore prediction of the frontier between partial slip and gross slip is required.

Abstract: This paper presents novel designs of Ka band transitions between standard rectangular waveguide and substrate integrated waveguide (SIW). The proposed transitions can provide simultaneous field and impedance matching. The transition with a height-tapered waveguide exhibits outstanding low-loss performance over an ultra-wideband range (entire Ka-band). And the other one with Chebyshev transformers has a compact profile and low loss better than 2dB in a bandwidth of 11GHz at Ka band. The simulation and analysis of the transitions are carried out with Ansoft HFSS.

Abstract: A possible mechanism of polaron to bipolaron transition is investigated based on the well known SSH model. We have studied the dynamical process of collision between two positively charged polarons with same spin in the presence of external electric fields. It is found that when the relative velocity of collision is not very large, the collision leads to a direct transition of two polarons to a bipolaron.

Abstract: Urban green space is vital for the livability of a city. It is important how to utilize the vegetation on rural-urban fringes to improve the green space system of an extended built-up area. In this paper, based on the analysis of the features about vegetation on fringes in its types, dynamics, and potentials, it is argued that keeping the vegetation patches be much more indigenous, well distributed and connected, and remain this status during all the transition period should be included in the planning goals at all levels; and all the planning efforts need to be taken through an approach integrated into the planning system according to particular type or level planning could take. Some key planning strategies or measures were developed, which include functioning with the ecological potentials, embedding the ecological assessment through all the planning process, and more detailed in planning.

Abstract: It has been a long time that two kinds of resident habitations and the corresponding administration systems have been present and functioning in Chinese cities and countries. In recent years, with the rapid development and expansion of city, many villages have been gradually incorporated into city zone and as a result villages in urban district, normally called in-city villages, come into being, which are sarcastically against the grain with all aspects of city zone. This paper studies the problem by the theory of dualistic structure of city and country, and analyzes the transition and causes from the point of view of city development, especially on the change process, i.e., from neighboring village to village which is half incorporated by city, and finally to the in-city village. For the purpose of illustration, investigates the causes of transition and engendering of in-city villages with respect to city expansion and village urbanization. The result of this study is anticipated to be of some significance to perform the full-scale city modernization and to establish a harmony society.
