Abstract: This paper deals with the development of a remote operation system for residential AC power supply using medium radio frequency transmission. Application of this system is to disconnect and reconnect the electricity supply which is operated by power utility company. Radio frequency (RF) remote control consists of a transmitter and receiver, which is the main module of the developed system. The transmitter will send a control signal through the module equipment transmitting antenna and the signal will be received by the antenna radio frequency transceiver module. Then, the recipient will control the electrical signals through the contactor as an interface with all electrical equipment. The operation of this system is at a fixed frequency of 315 MHz and distance control of electrical equipment is up to 10m at open space and subject to any restriction, antenna and supply of power. The results of this system are successfully demonstrated in the prototype of the remote control system for residential AC power supply. Some modifications have been proposed to improve the function of remote control system.

Abstract: In this paper, a design circuit of neutral point type buck boost has been utilized for wireless transfer energy application. Resonance magnetic field was used as the preferred wireless energy transfer approach due to its ability to generate high efficiency and an increased in distance between the transmitting and receiving coil. The constructed circuit has been found to be able to transmit a DC voltage output to the receiver coil with relatively small ripple voltage output at a limited range of around 15 centimetres.

Abstract: With the growing shortage of water today, in order to control the flow of pipe conveyance, it is essential for further study of automatic control valves, especially the automatic control technology of control valve. In this paper, by using programmable control and signal transmission technologies etc. a prototype model of hydraulic valve position control is constructed. Prototype model is designed as the closed-loop of position control system, by using high-precision angular displacement sensor detecting the position of the valve plate, converting the output signal of sensor into an industrial process signal 4-20mA with the low-drift transmitter chip XTR101, and with modular PLC as system control center, using three-phase inverter controlling the steering and speed of motor and cooperating with closed pump control system for hydraulic drive, it achieves the closed-loop control hydraulic valve position. This paper provides some technical support for the better use of water resources.

Abstract: High performance network over coax (HINOC) is a recently proposed technology which plays a central role in the integration of telecommunications networks, cable TV networks and the Internet. But there still is a lack of comprehensive testing equipment designed for it yet, especially in baseband signal testing area. In this paper, we designed a high performance baseband signal transmitter and analyzer for HINOC system test. The system is implemented as hardware and software co-design architecture. Both of the baseband signal transmitter and analyzer have passed a series of rigorous tests, which demonstrates that the whole system meets the HINOC test specification and can provide great assistance for follow-up HINOC research.

Abstract: This paper presents a design of wireless data collector based on WIA-PA. The wireless data collector collects analog signal of voltage or current, and transmits it to the host computer wirelessly. Through it, the traditional 4-20mA or 0-5V analog interfaced instrument can be easily accessed to the newly designed wireless data acquisition system, which saves wiring and maintenance costs.

Abstract: In order to achieve the remote monitoring of transmitter running status, a transmitter architecture of remote monitoring system based on a three-layer C/S architecture is proposed, and the overall design of the system is presented. Compared with the traditional two layers structure, the function of the client data processing is separated for implementing alone, which is treated as a middle layer called business logic layer. LabVIEW is used for the software development of the system. Communication of the local monitoring system is achieved by the Ethernet network based on TCP/IP protocol. SQL Server database is adopted to store and manage the run data and log data. The result shows that the system has good flexibility and extensibility, it also has higher application value and popularization value.

Abstract: The reverse intermodulation interference exits among multi-standard base stations, it needs less than-114dBm/100KHz within a receiver band. A test method improved mechanism to measure IM3 (3rd order intermodulation product) during base station design, which made the test results better by reducing the nonlinear contribution from key component directional coupler in test environment. The new method changed hardware connection without any cost. Improved test mechanism can detect low level IM3 beneath-138dBm/100KHz in RX band.

Abstract: As demand for data rate continues to increase, new problem of LVDS start to come out, such as signal integrity. Those problems are primarily caused by frequency-dependent loss in transmission line. The purpose of pre-emphasis is to apply intentional overdriving to the signal and get it back to the original signal with the proper weight, thereby compensating for the ISI from the nearby data symbol. In order to avoid over-emphasis we propose a programmable pre-emphasis adapting to different situation, and finish the prototype which can improve the transmission bandwidth more effectively, achieving high-speed data transmission.

Abstract: A new HDMI data transmission system is proposed in this paper. To achieve a better data transmission performance, the TMDS codec algorithm of HDMI transmitter and receiver are optimized, thus the precision and practical applicability is improved. Moreover, a color enhanced module and an error correction module are added to the system. The proposed system is implemented using Verilog DHL language and simulated in Modelsim software. The simulation results show that the proposed system exhibits better performance on the functions of data sending and receiving.

Abstract: According to the requirements of the functional safety temperature transmitter high reliability, this paper selects the micro-power voltage reference, the reset monitor, the D-type flip-flop and the OR gate to design the functional safety temperature transmitter protection circuit for fault status. The protection circuit takes power from the data line of HART fieldbus by micro-power voltage references. According to the control signal of the functional safety transmitter, the protection circuit utilizes the state latch of D-type flip-flop, and realizes the functional safety temperature transmitter protection circuit for fault status.
