Abstract: This paper briefly presents the investigation of risk based decision making for mobile mooring system. This paper used bow tie analysis to analyze the risk of mobile mooring failure. Bow tie analysis consists of FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) on left part and ETA (Event Tree Analysis) on the right part. FTA is useful to determine the potential causes from critical top event until the undesired events are obtained. ETA (Event Tree Analysis) is helpful to define the possible consequence by relating an initiating event to various consequence models. The investigation consists of determining the critical hazards of mooring system failure through investigating the root causes, the consequences, and the frequency index.

Abstract: Graph labeling theory has important applications in coding theory, communication networks, logistics and other aspects. In Operations Research or Systems Engineering Theory and Methods, one very often use graph colorings/labellings to divide large systems into subsystems. One can use colorings/labellings to distinguish vertices and edges between vertices in order to find fast algorithms to imitate some effective transmissions and communications in information networks. In this paper we present a computational approach to the odd-graceful labelings for some olive trees.

Abstract: In order to simulate growth and development process of tree, then provide services for production management and scientific research, all kinds of tree growth models are constructed. The paper firstly considers a variety of factors affecting the growth and development of tree, then studies artificial intelligence knowledge such as neural network and expert system, uses the neural expert system to solve the acquisition and management of tree growth parameters, and design and develop tree growth management and expert system based on growth models, the models combine morphogenesis model of tree and knowledge model to provide comprehensive environmental control and management decision-making. Practice has indicated that the growth models of tree can reflect the growth of trees under different physiological and ecological conditions, and visual effect is very good.

Abstract: In order to provide intellectual support for the construction of model resource of tree growth management, the paper carried out research on ontology and knowledge base technology, and the tree growth management resource information and ontology knowledge base were regarded as research target, which applied the ontology knowledge organization, then used semantic languages and resource model to study tree growth management resource knowledge base, discussed the acquisition, reasoning and other methods of tree growth management resource information. The practice has proved that resource information model of tree growth management based on ontology can acquire more parameters of tree growth management resource than traditional methods, which can provide sharing platform of resource information for tree growth management and contribute to construct the resource information model of tree growth management.

Abstract: In order to grasp the related information and parameters needed by the tree growth, and management, establish the authentic decision-making model of tree growth management using the effective resource information, the resource information of tree growth management are investigated from the perspective of ontology and knowledge base technology. The paper introduces the ontology and knowledge base technology, adopts the knowledge organizing pattern based on ontology, studies the structure and technique of knowledge of tree growth management, the ontology is regarded as the knowledge organizing pattern to establish the open knowledge base of tree growth management, and constructs the management model of tree growth. Practice has proved that the research and application of ontology in the resource information of tree growth management has important value for the model construction of tree growth management, achieves the sharing of resource information of tree growth management.

Abstract: It has been known that edge-symmetric graphs can be used as models of some scale-free networks, such as hierarchial networks and self-similar networks, such as graph colorings can be used for distinguishing objects of communication and informa-tion networks. We study the edge-magic property of edge-symmetric graphs, and construct graphs having edge-magic total labellings from smaller graphs.

Abstract: As the most important means of solar energy application, photovoltaic performance has significant impact on human energy systems, much like the role of photosynthesis in the plant of ecosystem. In this aspect, photovoltaic and its integration with building and urban ecosystem are related to the theory of ecology, and the balance between society and nature. This paper puts forward the bionic conception of plant and on the basis of the recent researches on photosynthesis to interpret current solar utilization methodologies, especially the building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV), and the BIPV impact on urban environment. Based on the performance evaluation of the new photovoltaic module with green electricity, heating and cooling poly-generation, a hint was given that eco-solar buildings need learn from the process of photosynthesis of plants and the closed cycle of nature.

Abstract: Smart grid need to transmit a large number of data through the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). In the past, the core problem of WSN was to limit the energy consumptions of the node and prolong the life cycle. With the development of hardware technologies, and to improve the security and reliability of the transmit data, the core problem of WSN is changed to improve the connectivity and stability of WSN network. This paper summarized a new topology used in WSN network. Large area was divided into small grid as region. By calculate the weighted average values of each node in the region, we constructed a tree topology. The new topology improved the key technologies of WSN including data privacy, Qos, query algorithm and robustness. In the simulation experiments, the new topology can improve the stability and connectivity of the WSN remarkably.

Abstract: It is known that heavy metals are taken up and translocated by plants to different degrees. Phytoremediation, the use of plants to decontaminate soil by taking up heavy metals, shows considerable promise as a low-cost technique and has received much attention in recent years. However, its application is still very limited due to low biomass of hyperaccumulators, unavailability of the suitable plant species and long growing seasons required. Therefore, to maximize phytoextraction efficiency, it is important to select a fast-growing and high-biomass plant with high uptake of heavy metals, which is also compatible with mechanized cultivation techniques and local weather conditions. Trees in particular have a number of attributes (e.g. high biomass, economic value), which make them attractive plants for such a use. This paper reviews the potential for the phytoremediation of heavy metal-contaminated land by trees. In summary, we present the research progress of phytoremediation by trees and suggest ways in which this concept can be applied and improved.

Abstract: With the application of growth model and computer techniques in tree growth management, in order to grasp growth pattern of tree, further improve the level of tree growth management, and make the research on the tree growth model gradually develop towards the intelligent and science. The paper carried out simulation research technology for management model of the tree growth, meanwhile the database technology and modeling technology are used in the tree growth model, so the management model of tree growth is established, then visually display the states which are at different stages of tree growth management, which can contribute to predict the development states of tree growth. The research on tree growth model has important theory and practical significance in understanding the yield of the various parts of the tree and in taking the reasonable management measures.
