Abstract: According to the three-wheeled high clearance sprayer on the current market, the traditional empirical design method can hardly be used for effective stress distribution calculation and structural optimization, so it leads to the unreasonable structural design. Based on the overall structure of the sprayer design, a new-type high clearance sprayer designed, It is mainly composed of the engine-powered diaphragm pump power transmission parts, the power steering of scalable universal joint, the rear wheel steering mechanism and other components. Meanwhile, the finite element analysis and structural optimization on the sprayer frame have been finished. Therefore, the results showed that the frame realized the lightweight on the premise of the demand of performance and stiffness, each mechanism’s matching performance of sprayer meets the design requirements, and this approach provides a beneficial investigation into the future sprayer design.

Abstract: A comprehensive performance testing table of the constant velocity joint drive shaft assembly is discussed in this paper. This testing table is able to operate 9 testing items. The mechanical structure, the working principle, and the software system of the testing table is introduced respectively. Intelligent measuring method and LCOD technique is used in the system. System identification method is applied while designing the control system. An example of slip curve testing program is also given at this paper.

Abstract: the automobile constant velocity universal joint driving shaft is the important component in modern cars, its design is mainly to check the movement compatibility of parts. The constant velocity universal joints driving shaft is designed by three-dimensional solid modeling software UG, and the motion simulation model is build by multi-body dynamics simulation software to investigate the constant speed performance of constant velocity universal joints driving shaft, and check the motion trace of steel ball which is the key component of constant velocity universal joints. The results show that the constant speed performance is good, and the track design of star-like inner race is reasonable.

Abstract: A comprehensive performance testing table, on which 9 testing items can be done, of the constant velocity joint drive shaft assembly is developed. The principle of the system is introduced and the mechanical structure and the computer measuring and control system of it are discussed particularly. Some intelligent measuring methods, such as fuzzy method, are used in the system and an example of testing the slip curve characteristic of the joint assembly by fuzzy measuring method is presented in detail, including its membership function and fuzzy rules of fuzzy reasoning. The slip curve measured by traditional method compared with that by fuzzy method. The experimental results show that the measurement precision by fuzzy method is more accurate than that by the traditional one.

Abstract: This paper presents a novel Rotary Steerable System which used a universal joint to avoid the alternating press in the drilling process. The mechanics model is established on the basis of simplifying structure and supporting of rotation axis in directive RSS. Dynamic model of the offset mandrel is derived by means of Hamilton principle, which could be used to control system design. Location of offset force acting on the offset mandrel is optimized and vibration equation of universal joint is deduced by means of transfer matrix method, then the results of natural frequency are compared with the calculated results of the finite element to verify the kinetic model. Both dynamic model and simulation analysis are expected to provide useful good guidance for the design of control system, detail design, structure optimization and the dynamic vibration of the RSS.

Abstract: This paper based on the improved twin tripod sliding universal joint and let it has the determined movement output. And create the three-dimensional model of twin tripod sliding universal joint before and after improved in software pro/e, and then put it into the simulation module, carry out the kinematic simulation of the tripod center on coupling. Obtained the curves of displacement, velocity and acceleration for two kinds of tripod centers.
