Abstract: Virtual Sensei Lite (VS Lite) is an inexpensive user-friendly motion analysis system. As an alternative motion capture system, it is a must for VS Lite’s user to assess the accuracy of the measurement system capability. To date, such analysis to observe the reliability and accuracy of VS Lite has not been reported. Therefore, this study proposes a procedure for assessing the accuracy and capability of the Virtual Sensei Lite using ANOVA Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) designed experiments. In this procedure, a gage R&R study is conducted to obtain replicate measurements on nine parts by three operators. The total variation due to measurement error is then observed to identify the accuracy of measurement. The study able to demonstrate on the accuracy of VS Lite as the value of total variation due to measurement error is within 10%-30%.

Abstract: Oral English teaching is the law of language teaching, which is not only the necessity of college English teaching reform and development but also a reflection of social needs. After college English graded teaching, oral test was incorporated into the scope of the final exam of many colleges and universities. In-depth discussion of computer-assisted oral English test reliability and validity has the practical significance.

Abstract: With the rapid development of computer technology, the computer has rapidly entered our daily life. People begin to use the computer for scientific research, production, entertainment, and information consulting and other activities widely, which brings about the Computer Aided Designing, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Computer Aided Instruction in order to improve the efficiency and quality of life. Using computer technology in language testing has become the trend of language testing both at home and abroad. Communicative language teaching becomes the guiding ideology and theoretical basis of modern language testing. The reliability and validity in computerized language assessments have become the two important criteria of evaluation of test quality. Computer Assisted English test with its unique advantages has opened up a new heaven and earth for English test.

Abstract: Transformers is one of the most important power system components, its role is to carry power conversion and transmission, transformer manufacturing technology continues to develop, but there is a surge of its problems, factors that have caused the transformer inrush load switching, transformers string parallel operation and fault lines, etc, as a transformer inrush phenomenon often can lead to malfunction of its protection, the correct identification is particularly important means of this paper, the combination of EMD and TEO transformer inrush and fault operation effective identification, theory and simulation confirms the validity and reliability of the algorithm.

Abstract: This paper gives a detailed description of the project on computer-assisted oral English test conducted in Wuhan Polytechnic University. The project indicated the advantages of computer-assisted oral English testing over face-to-face spoken English test, as well as weak points and problems to be discussed. At the end of this paper, some tentative suggestions are made on how to conduct large-scale computer-assisted oral English test with both high reliability and validity to develop students oral English ability in universities and colleges in China.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to explain the assessment of validity and reliability of measured items used in survey research. The structural equation modeling techniques and Partial Least Square (PLS) will be adopted to assess the goodness of measures of constructs used in a model to examine the performance of the Malaysian train drivers. The measurement process involves assessment of construct validity of the items and followed by convergent validity. Then, the composite reliability was assessed with internal consistency measure of Cronbachs alpha. Lastly, discriminant validity was tested to assess the validity of the measurement. The constructs are not supposed to measure other constructs or overlapping constructs.

Abstract: The feedbacks of the results of assessing the network security strategy based on security capability, as a reference to the security strategy for effective adjustment, providing a more robust system and improve the safety. The correct security strategy results from the correct understanding on the system security demands and effective assessment model, because the various security domain information subjects and objects have different security needs. On the basis of the establishment of the network security strategy based on security domain, through analysis of the security strategy defensive methods, application objects, information security attributes and their relationship, this paper proposed an assessment model of network security strategy based on security capability, and analyzed the impact of the network security strategy attributes upon network security capability, that is the robust security strategy is conducive to system safety.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to construct the Taiwan Adolescent Digital Reading Assessment (TADRA) and further to examine its validity. Researchers took the structure of the PISA 2009 electronic reading assessment (ERA) and Leus (2004) online reading literacy as references to develop this tool which included three aspects: access and retrieve, integrate and interpret, and reflect and evaluate. Assessment material taken was from digital archive resources which possess high academic and educational value. The assessment system was developed on Internet/www platform, and runs and scors through ASP.NET. A pilot study was carried out in a junior high and high school in Taiwan. A total of 415 students, 216 8th graders and 199 10th graders, participated in the pilot study. Academic achievement of subjects was collected for preliminary testing TDARAs validity. After adapting classical testing theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT), the results shown that P value is between 0.36-0.05, item difficulty parameter b is between 0.06-0.79, item discrimination is good (D=0.33-0.34); correlation coefficients between TADRA and Chinese is between 0.45-0.50, which is highest among all schools grades. This pattern demonstrates sensible supporting evidence for convergent and discriminant validity. Thease finding also indicate that basic searching ability is a requirement for online reading, hence differentiating online and offline reading.

Abstract: Naïve Bayes classification algorithm based on validity (NBCABV) optimizes the training data by eliminating the noise samples of training data with validity to improve the effect of classification, while it ignores the associations of properties. In consideration of the associations of properties, an improved method that is classification algorithm for Naïve Bayes based on validity and correlation (CANBBVC) is proposed to delete more noise samples with validity and correlation, thus resulting in better classification performance. Experimental results show this model has higher classification accuracy comparing the one based on validity solely.

Abstract: If the contracts signed by the construction enterprises with the relationship of affiliating operation under the name of themselves or titular enterprises, affiliating operators and titular units are usually co litigants to prosecute or response. It’s stipulated in Article of Supreme Court “Suggestions on Civil Procedure Law” that “if individual businesses, individual partnership or private enterprises affiliate themselves with collective enterprises and operate under the name of collective enterprises, the individual businesses, individual partnership or private enterprises and the titular collective enterprises shall be the co litigants.”Constructors are affiliated to other construction enterprises and sign construction contracts under the name of titular construction enterprises, but the titular construction enterprises don’t want to prosecute, the constructors can be plaintiffs, titular construction enterprises are not necessary to be regarded as co-plaintiffs.
