Abstract: 3D printing, that is, a kind of rapid prototyping technology, it is a kind of based on the digital model file, using the powder metal or plastic adhesive materials, such as to construct the object by means of step by step a print technology. 3D printing technology rapid development in recent years, It has to develop in the direction of miniature and generalization slowly from large professional, desktop 3D printing equipment is the representative products in this process. Based on the principle and characteristics of 3D printing, use the desktop 3D printer, the causes of some common problems in the process of printing and solvents are discussed. Based on these problems, the advantages and disadvantages of 3D printing are analyzed, and vision of the future are put forward.

Abstract: Based on the traditional mechanical model of thin-walled straight beam, the paper makes a systematic analysis and research on the pre-twisted thin-walled beam finite element numerical model. Firstly, based on the geometric deformation differential relationship, the paper deduces the pre-twisted thin-walled beam Saint-Venant warping strain. According to traditional thin-walled straight beam finite element mechanical model, the paper establishes its finite element stiffness matrix considering the Saint-Venant warping deformations. Finally, by calculating the pre-twisted elliptical section beam example, and contrasting three-dimensional solid finite element using ANSYS, the comparative analysis results show that pre-twisted thin-walled beam element stiffness matrix considering Saint-Venant warping deformation has good accuracy.

Abstract: The change of ambient temperature will cause deformation during the machining process of large-scale aerospace monolithic component. Based on finite element simulation, thermally induced deformation of reinforcing plate is studied in such aspects as reinforcement structure, clamping method and temperature change, and contact function in finite element software is used to simulate the unilateral constraint between workpiece and worktable. The results indicate that reinforcing plate will produce warping deformation due to the change of ambient temperature. Different reinforcement structures and clamping methods have important influence on the deformation positions and degrees, and the deformation is proportional to the temperature change.

Abstract: The heat transfer coefficient during the aluminum thin plate quenching is difficult to measure experimentally. In this paper, according to the warping deformation characteristics of the 2024 honeycombed aluminum thin plate quenching, the heat transfer coefficient is obtained using finite element software ABAQUS. During the calculation process of the heat transfer coefficient, the sheet practical quenching process of immersion and the air-cooling has been considered. Using the heat transfer coefficient above, the quenching temperature field is solved through the simulation. Based on the temperature field, the residual stress field is simulated. Depending on the simulation results, the magnitude and the distribution of the residual stress is obtained. By X - ray diffraction method, the simulation results have been compared to the experiment results and they are in better agreement. It proves that the simulation method is available and effectively.

Abstract: The paper addresses the derivation of a concentrated plastic-hinge finite element modelling for nonlinear analysis of space steel frames. The interpolation functions considering shearing deformation are adopted and cubic polynomial interpolation functions based on Kollbrnner-Dajdin modified constraint torsion theory are used to consider the warping deformation, with these functions the effect of the secondary shear stress can be taken into account. With the expanded Orbison’s yielding surface, the plastic-hinge method used to do nonlinear analysis of space steel frames is derived by introducing elastic-plastic hinge parameter of element cross section. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the validity and the universality of the proposed approach and the results show the new model is accurate and suitable for the nonlinear analysis of steel frameworks.
