Abstract: The radiation shielding abilities of functional particles (Sm2O3, Er2O3, WO3 and Bi2O3) were simulated and proved to have a stronger absorption region and a weaker absorption region respectively. Four kinds of functional particles/epoxy radiation shielding composites used for low energy γ/Xray were designed based on the edge absorption and synergistic absorption. By optimizing the proportion of functional particles in epoxy composites, the radiation shielding abilities bad been further improved. According to the results of optimal design, a kind of Sm2O3/Er2O3/WO3/Bi2O3/Epoxy composite was prepared and proved to be very efficient to shield low energy γ/X radiation.

Abstract: This paper introduces the main measuring methods for sediment concentration of runoff, including the traditional methods, such as ultrasonic method, infrared method, γ-ray method, as well as the newly proposed methods, such as capacitance method , specific heat method. But each of these methods has their limitations. X-ray measuring method for sediment concentration of runoff is good at the measuring accuracy and range, it is sure that X-ray method can open up a new path for measuring sediment concentration of runoff.

Abstract: The present paper reviews the X-ray grating imaging systems at home and abroad from the aspects of technological characterizations and the newest researching focus. First, not only the imaging principles and the frameworks of the typical X-ray grating imaging system based on Talbot-Lau interferometry method, but also the algorithms of retrieving the signals of attenuation, refraction and small-angle scattering are introduced. Second, the system optimizing methods are discussed, which involves mainly the relaxing the requirement of high positioning resolution and strict circumstances for gratings and designing large field of view with high resolution. Third, two and four-dimensional grating-based X-ray imaging techniques are introduced.

Abstract: The paper focuses on the study of the formation mechanism of belite (dicalcium silicate) catalyzed with potassium ions in the form of chemically pure salt of potassium sulphate at various modes of firing in order to increase its reactivity. To verify the function of potassium sulphate as a substance enhancing the reactivity of C2S, 3 material mixtures were tested; they contained 0, 1 and 2 % of K2O recalculated per fired dicalcium silicate.

Abstract: The first mode of damage in fiber reinforced composite laminates is usually intralaminar cracking in layers with off-axis orientation regarding the main loading direction. This papers analyzes the most typical methods used for the characterization of the damage state: edge replicas, optical microscopy, x-ray images, acoustic emission, speckle interferometry and Raman spectroscopy

Abstract: X-ray Digital imaging is an innovative method of metal fusion welding quality evaluation. To improve the accuracy, the digital imaging sensitivity must be increased by studying the optimal radioactive parameters. At first, the basic elements, inherent characteristics and imaging principle have been analysed systematically. Secondly, the optimization method of sampling rate, stacking frames, focal length, cube voltage and current have been studied based on the phisical characteristic of FPD( Flat Panel Detector). At last, the method has been verified upon two platforms. The experimental results from different systems proved correctness and applicability.

Abstract: Using the Renka Cline algorithm provided by OriginPro8.6 to fit the longitudinal residual stress through parts of the measurement value on the A7N01-T5 aluminum alloy butt welded joints compared with the whole measurement value. The result shows that the fitting value approximates the measurement value. The fitting value is reliable. So, Renka Cline algorithm is a reliable method to analyze the longitudinal residual stress on a plate region.

Abstract: Two setups for X-ray visualization of objects interior structure were designed and assembled in TPU. These radiographic systems are based on linear gas-discharge and GaAs semiconductor detectors. During investigation of biological object control of radiation doses has a high priority. In this report radiation dose calculations in X-ray visualization are presented. These calculation also includes dose calculations of sinograms which are used for reconstruction of tomography slices.

Abstract: the conditions of the electro-deposition effect the performance of deposition sample greatly. Determining the texture of the samples of the substrate and the electro-deposition, comparing and analyzing the change rule of the texture, it is clear that after electro-deposited, the intensity of the γ fiber texture increases. And with the change of the electro-deposition temperature, the intensity of the γ fiber texture changes.
