Abstract: Now the highway’s traffic accidents are often taken place because of the influence of fog and other inclement weather. The accidents cause a very big loss to people's life and property. Therefore, it plays an important part in all-weather real-time monitoring, analyzing and early warning effectively. In this paper, a highway intelligent vehicle guidance system is developed to avoid traffic accidents occurring in highway. The system can greatly reduce the traffic accidents caused by mass of fog. The result shows that the system has high precision and reliability.

Abstract: China is a great agricultural country, which has huge total land resources, yet very little per capita, and meets the food requirements of numerous people about 7% of the world's land. How to increase product yield, improve production efficiency, and combine the dual effect of environment and economy based on the limited resources, is one of the significant problems to urgently need to be addressed at present. This paper first introduces the architecture standard of agricultural Internet of things (IOT), then expounds the basic situation of ZigBee and wireless sensor network (WSN), and finally analyzes the demand for intelligent monitoring system of agricultural environment (IMSAE), from the perspective of the overall design, preliminarily designs an IMSAE using ZigBee WSN.

Abstract: According to the actual situation of the coexistence of multi-sensor and multi-protocol in Mine Monitoring System, a comprehensive monitoring system of network based on XMPP protocol was carried out in this paper. The characteristics of the network system structure and the scheme of virtual sensor gateway were described in detail. Moreover, a session protocol based on the XMPP protocol was proposed and the definition of API was given. Functional structure and software structure of the whole system were designed based on Zend Framework. By using the virtual server cloud technology of VMware, as well as the centralized storage method of SAN, the background monitoring server group was built. After testing, the system greatly met the requirements of safety monitoring, which also possessed the advantage of easy implement, simple operation and maintenance, and great expansibility.

Abstract: The aim of this research is to develop a low power, low cost and energy efficient transceiver model which is integrated with programmable microcontroller and ZigBee transponder. A combination of programmable microcontroller with ZigBee transponder is used to control the transceiver module with computer commands. It has b een simulated for transmitting and receiving the communication signals from any movable device with more efficiently and use low power consumption. ZigBee Transponder is preferable as compared to radio frequency identification (RFID) due to IEEE 802.15.4 standard that promises stable data transmission with low power consumption device and having higher network flexibility. PIC 16F877A programmable microcontroller with coding in Mikro C software is simulated and used with computer control instructions. Series of experiments has been conducted to ensure the stability and low power consumption of this model.

Abstract: Nowadays, mobile robot tracking is the one of application in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). A one of promising localization algorithm in range-free algorithm is the weighted centroid localization (WCL) algorithm. This work proposed the improved WCL algorithm with quadratic means based on received signal strength (RSS). The ZigBee operated at 2.4 GHz frequency is used to measure in the indoor environment. The final results will be discuss about the comparison of the typically WCL algorithm and the improved WCL algorithm. From the results, the 1-meter-precision of improved WCL is 91.67% and WCL is 83.33%. Moreover, the improved WCL obtained the 16.67% no error of estimated position.

Abstract: The development of a wireless sensor network system for temperature and humidity monitoring is described. The system is composed of two main parts, namely an end device and a coordinator. The end device consists of an SHT10 sensor, an XBee Pro RF module, an ATMega8535 microcontroller, and a battery. The coordinator consists of an XBee Pro RF module and an SIM900 GSM module. The temperature and humidity data were sent by the end device to the coordinator and they were forwarded to the web server via GPRS communication using the SIM900 GSM module. In order to the data stored in the database can be accessed in real time via the internet, a web server is developed by using CodeIgniter (CI). It was shown that each end device can communicate very well with the coordinator. Moreover, the data are received in accordance with the timing of delivery was given.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a Smart-Home system with ZigBee Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) technology. The system provides automation system in the House. The monitor system uses Andriod NDK and SDK to write application interface for an Android embedded platform. In this system, we provide access control system to obtain sensor data and inquiry into node status. We use multi-channel architecture to reduce a hidden terminal problem and upgrade packet delivery ratio.

Abstract: The widely applying of LED lighting products promotes the development of smart lighting control system of LED. On the basis of analysis of the existing intelligent lighting control system technology, and with the development of computing and communications as well as cutting-edge technology, this paper puts forward a smart lighting control system of LED based on CPS. Combining practical LED lighting system and CPS theory, hierarchical structure of LED intelligent lighting control system is put forward. And on the basis of the designed system framework, this paper gives the LED intelligent control system based on ZigBee – Wi-Fi structure.

Abstract: In the process of coal-mine production, the self-ignition of left coal in goaf area has always been major disasters, and spawns amount of economic loss. As a consequence, it is necessary and essential to monitor the self-ignition of left coal in goaf. In consideration of the complex and poor environment of the goaf area, this thesis adopts ZigBee wireless sensor network instead of traditional fixed cable sensor network to monitor the self-ignition of coal goaf area. It has the advantages of wild covering, convenient layout and easy adapting to environment. In addition, counting on the revised routing algorithm, the whole wireless sensor network has obvious advantages of its network performance and low consumption, which makes the whole system monitor the self-ignition of left coal steadily and permanently.

Abstract: ZigBee is a low-rate, low-power-consumption wireless communication technology, which can be widely used in the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). ZigBee wireless network is applied to the monitoring system of gas flow meters in this paper. The design of hardware and software of the system based on Zigbee chip is given. The gas flow data is uploaded to the terminal node via RS485 serial port, and the terminal node transmits the data to the coordinator by the ZigBee wireless network, and then the coordinator sends the data to the PC by using RS232 serial port. In this way, the monitoring center can manage and analyze the data, so the real-time monitoring can be realized. It has been proved that the system has strong anti-interference ability, safe and reliable and stable operation.
