Loading-Control of Eddy Current Dynamometer for AMT Test Bench

The loading-control effect of eddy current dynamometer was difficult improved by building a exact model because of the strong nonlinearity characteristics of eddy current dynamometer. Focus on the test requirement of AMT test bench, a fuzzy logic controller was proposed to control the loading force for the flat-straight road working circumstance of AMT using eddy current dynamometer. At last, the experiments were implemented on the test bench and real vehicle. The contrast analyses of the results show that the curves of main AMT gear shifting parameters on the test bench are coincident with the actual process. The fuzzy logic loading-controller of eddy current dynamometer is proved to work properly.
