Renewable energy is the energy which comes from natural resources such as wind, rain, sunlight, and tides. These resources are generally renewable can be naturally replenished. Therefore, for all practical purposes, and resources can be considered as inexhaustible unlike dwindling conventional fossil fuels. This renewable energy has to be used in an efficient way for that Hybrid systems are used. This paper shows the monitoring of a hybrid power unit. The monitoring system has been conceived for comparing the performance of the power generation unit with reference. Depending upon the performance the fault can be analyzed. The fault can be viewed in local and remote location. LABVIEW software is used for data acquisition and analyzing a fault.
