Review from Ringgold Inc., ProtoView: The conference addresses various technical problems involved in creating new designs and modernizing existing designs of pumps and compressors, predominantly centrifugal machines. The 53 papers discuss such matters as modeling operating modes of centrifugal pumps, replaceable hydraulic parts in spiral volute pumps, solutions for increasing the bearing capacity of thrust bearings, the lubrication regimes of mechanical face seals, elastic bellows prepared by selective laser sintering, and damping self-excited pressure pulsations in a petro-diesel pipeline.
