Marine Water Quality Assessment’s Nonlinear Set Pair Analysis Method

Based on set pair analysis theory, synthetic assessment method with nonlinear membership function and systematic procedure are developed in this paper. A relation degree function is presented for different evaluation index with sea water quality assessment. The set pair analysis method works well in one building site of Bohai Bay. This shows the set pair analysis method has advantages of concision and easy-operation, and nonlinear membership function can improve membership degree of evaluation index, so the assessment results are credible.
