Design and Simulation of 2-Step Braided Composites Based on VRML-Java

By taking 2-step rectangular braided composites as an example, the algorithm of parametric simulation of braided composites is discussed based on the analysis of yarn-moving regulation. And then, the simulation model of braided composites is created on the platform of VRML–Java, which brings the interactive design and simulation of 2-step rectangular braided composites to pass, makes the users can observe the composites spatial structure and braiding moving process intuitively and modify them dynamically on the Internet. With this method, the design quality and efficiency of products will be raised remarkably.
