A Design of PCI Target Interface Based on FPGA

With the advantages of high performance, linear burst transmission, plug and play, PCI bus is widely applied. As a result, it replaced the earlier ISA and EISA as a standard bus. This paper introduces a FPGA-based PCI target interface design method and its implementation on the basis of a practical project. It detailed the target state machine according to PCI 2.3 and designed the configuration space and other modules.
