Abstract: Magnetic abrasive finishing (MAF) is a kind of method for polishing the surfaces and the
edges. The investigation for the technique of MAF and the development of the ferromagnetic poles
lay a theoretical foundation for developing a new method for finishing the curved surfaces
automatically under the numerical control. In the paper, the performance parameters of the developed
magneto poles, which are used for finishing the plane surfaces and the curved ones, have been tested.
The curvature of the finished surface, the sloping angle of the machined surface and the rotation
speed of the poles, which affect the surface roughness, are studied theoretically. What mentioned
above supply references to the practical uses of the MAF, especially in the mould manufacturing.

Abstract: Drive line is the surface defect on the automotive panel. In order to investigate the causes and control methods of the drive line, the box-shaped part with curved bottom was designed based on the shape characteristics of automobile panel. Then this part was taken as an experimental model to analyze the causes and forming process of the drive line on its surface. Finally, influencing laws on the drive line from the draw bead, the important forming process parameter, were obtained by the experiments. The results showed that the draw bead has great impact on the drive line. Different setting ways of the draw beads can make good control for the formation, displacement and its direction of the drive line. Besides, it is an important way for setting the draw beads properly to prevent the stamping parts from the formation of the drive line.

Abstract: According to the new profiling characteristic of carbide pinion cutter with convex curved rake face, the machining process of convex curved rake face is designed, the special grinding equipment is designed and developed. Tool presetting and detecting equipment is developed by using laser sensor. It can be used to locate the initial location of grinding wheel precisely when convex curved rake face is machining. The tool path for CNC machining is solved. The grinding experiment is done for convex curved rake face of pinion cutter with 21teeth and 5modulus , different process parameters are established. The ideal surface roughness is obtained. The experiment result shows that the grinding equipment and tool presetting equipment are proper for machining requirements of convex curved rake face of pinion cutter.

Abstract: Cooling stage is a key stage of injection molding. It affects both the quality and efficiency of injection molding of products. Conformal cooling channel, due to its advantages in uniform cooling and rapid cooling, could improve the cooling effect obviously. Therefore, study on methods of machining curved hole are proposed to be used for practice. In this thesis, some methods of machining curved hole and their features in general were introduced.

Abstract: Through CAXA finishing methods, based on the geometric factors of the formation of surface roughness, this article proposes optimization control strategies of curved surface roughness. The study was focused on the optimal selection in curved surface processing methods, row spacing, milling cutters, feed and cutting speed. The experiment verified that the developed optimization control strategies were feasible.
