A Study of Relations between Environmental Pollution Indicators and Economic Variables

This paper uses non-parametric panel model to study the relations between environmental pollution indicators and economic variables in China from 1998 to 2008. The results show that environmental Kuznets curve only exists between wastewater and GDP, other pollutants such as SO2 do not exist such a relationship with GDP.
