Abstract: Ultrasonic is one of the most common uses of non-destructive evaluation technique. It could detect flaws inside the structure and on the surface such as voids, holes and cracks. In this investigation, a 304 steel block with a surface-breaking crack was fabricated. A series of test specimen with different depths of surface-breaking crack ranging from 2mm to 9mm was fabricated. The depth of the surface crack was evaluated by the pulse-echo ultrasonic technique. In this work, 2.25MHz, 5MHz and 10MHz of incident waves were employed to detect the depth of the surface-breaking crack. The effect of incident angle on the measuring accuracy was investigated. Experimental results showed that the accuracy of crack sizing detection by ultrasonic technique is not only dependent on the frequency of the incident wave but also dependent on the incident angle.

Abstract: The microstructure of talcum powder added with the KH550、KH560 and silane composite coupling agent were studied by atomic force microscope, the modified effect of KH560 coupling agent was the best, which verified through the microstructure analysis and the wetting contact Angle proved law method. The relationship between the dosage of KH560 coupling agent and contact angle was analyzed by the wetting contact Angle proved law method. The optimum dosage of KH560 coupling agent was determined by the experimental results of the viscosity of polishing putty.

Abstract: Recently, new needs have emerged to control not only linear motion but also rotational motion in high-accuracy manufacturing fields. Many five-axis-controlled machining centres are therefore in use. However, one problem has been the difficulty of creating flexible manufacturing systems with methods based on the use of these machine tools. On the other hand, the industrial dual-arm robot has gained attention as a new way to achieve accurate linear and rotational motion in an attempt to control a working plate like a machine tool table. In the present report, a cooperating dual-arm motion is demonstrated to make it feasible to perform stable operation control, such as controlling the working plate to keep a ball rolling around a circular path on it. As a result, we investigated the influence of each axis motion error on a ball-rolling path.

Abstract: Cam signals, crankshaft signals and angle signals were simulated by analogue crankshaft position sensors developed by C8051F series micro processors to emulate the operational environment of motorcycle engine. In the software development platform of gasoline engine, software running status of control system was tested. MP424 high-speed sampling card was applied to actually observe properties of ignition advance angle and fuel injection advance angle. The experiment suggested that practically observed fuel injection pulse width, ignition pulse width, properties of ignition advance angle and fuel injection advance angle were the same as those of models of control system software. This proved that the analogue crankshaft position sensor that has been developed is practical and feasible.

Abstract: In video monitoring system of substation, in-process video inspection is used to detect abnormalities and provide corresponding solutions in a timely manner to avoid failures.As the common equipment,electric power tower’s inclination should be detected timely..It was hard to check the fault of tower inclination timely and accurately only by staff’s routine inspection,and it will spent much manpower and material resources by the manner of sensor. A manner of substation video inspection tower inclination angle detection based on SIFT feature matching and OTSU was presented in this paper. The tower inclination angle was calculated through the matched feature points. As is proved in the simulation test, this algorithm features simplicity and it can detect the maximum angle in all case of inclination .
