The Finite Element Analysis of Different Materials’ Anti-Seismic Performance of NC Tool Rods

In order to improve the anti-seismic performance of the NC tool rods in the cutting processing, it’s necessary to study the knife shaft material’s influence to its anti-seismic performance. Based on the finite element analysis of the different materials’ NC tool rods, the study obtains their distribution diagrams of the displacement distribution and the maximal displacement parameters by simulation of the actual processing. And the results show that the material of the NC tool rods has an important influence on their anti-seismic performance, thus it provides a basis for the material of the NC tool rod’s choice and using.
