Abstract: In this study 50-70nm Nano-emulsion was synthesized by semi-continuous seeding emulsion with the compound of the different long-chain of carbon of the Allyl-type sodium Succinate Diester Emulsifier and traditional emulsifier. The type and amount of emulsifier, initiator and monomer ratio on the amount and impact of acrylic emulsion were discussed. The results showed that the obtained acrylic emulsion with the presence of polymerizable emulsion has significant lower water absorption and greater stability than that with the presence of traditional emulsifier. Measuring the solid content , particle size, stability, morphology, glass transition temperature and water absorption of the emulsion with the three types of allyl-type polymerizable emulsifier(sodium octyl allyl succinate (DOAS), sodium dodecyl succinate (SDAS) , tetradecyl sodium allyl succinate (TSAS)), considering various factors, sodium dodecyl allyl succinate has better emulsification.
Abstract: The synthesis of reversible red-thermochromic materials when temperature range at re-spectively 36.0～39.5°C, 44.5～46.5°C, 51.0～53.5°C with the tetradecanol, hexadecanol and octa-decanol as corresponding solvents, letlacton compound of 3-diethylamino-7,8-phenyl-fluoran as procrypsis dye as color agent were studied in this paper. The chromic properties of reversible red-thermochromic materials by infrared spectrum technology were analyzed.Experiment shows, In the reversible thermochromic materials, the solvent to determine its color temperature, color agent is mainly to determine its color depth, procrypsis dye itself to determine its color and stability proper-ties. The optimal matchs of procrypsis dye, color agent and solvent are 1:4:30(tetradecanol), 1:3:40(hexadecanol), 1:2:20(octadecanol) respectively. This paper has theoretical and practical di-rection function in counterfeiting printing and packaging field of reversible thermochromic material.
Abstract: The water-based pigment ink jet emulsion whose particle size was less than 100nm was synthesized by the polymerization of methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate and ethylhexyl acrylate, and anionic reactive surfactant and nonionic surfactant were used as the emulsifiers. The effects of particle size and water resistance were studied. The glass transition temperature was tested by differential scanning calorimetry. The average particle size of emulsion was range from 60nm to70nm, zeta potential value was less than -60mv; viscosity was 3.5mps; water absorption was 5.9%.
Abstract: The water-based gravure ink contains no volatile organic solvents and makes little environmental pollution, so it will be used widely as one promising environment-protecting ink. The dryness of water-based ink is always one hard point, because the printing carrier plastic hasn’t absorbability. To improve the dryness speed, the use of shallow version reducing the transfer is a common way. In order to reach the quality requirements of the graver press, the ink with high pigment is necessary. In this text getting printable ink samples, the primary ink that is dispersed by high-speed grinding is maxed with good- compatible water-based resin, co-solvent and auxiliary in proportion. Then getting the proof of the ink using IGT F1, the viscosity, size distribution, color density were tested . The influence of pigment/binder ratio to the viscosity, dispersibility and adherence of the ink were discussed. The result indicates that with the pigment/binder ratio promoting, the viscosity of the primary ink is decreasing. The dispersibility of primary ink is influenced by the pigment/binder ratio, when the pigment/binder is 2:1 ,the size of ink is the smallest. The pigment/binder ratio in primary ink has a certain influence to the adherence and the apparent performances of the ink. And the color density and the gloss of the proof are also influenced.
Abstract: In order to discuss the effects that cosolvent takes on ink used in water-borne pen performance and quality, select and use ethanol, methanol, isopropanol, Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethanediol and propanediol six common water-soluble cosolvent, using them to prepare the samples of ink used in Water-borne pen, testing the surface tension, viscosity, drying rate and adhesionforce. Select three kinds of cosolvent to carry the formula experiment. The results of the study show that: the ink prepared with different kinds csolvent have different performance. The ink prepared by isopropyl alcohol has good quality performance.
Abstract: To improve scratch-resistance and abrasion-resistance of water-based varnish, change the type of water-based resin, the type and content of wax emulsion and flow agent, then test scratch-resistance and abrasion-resistance of water-based varnish. The results show that resin and wax emulsion has a great influence on the scratch-resistance and abrasion-resistance of water-based varnish. Adding appropriate amount of wax emulsion can improve scratch-resistance and abrasion-resistance to some extent. Adding flow agent has certain influence on scratch-resistance of water-based varnish.
Abstract: To improve the dryness of the water-based plastic gravure ink and ensure their printing quality, by design the orthogonal experiment to compound the ink, to discussion the influencing factors of water-based plastic gravure ink initial dryness and full dryness, and discussion the major and minor of the factors. By using different types of resins, changing the content of alcohol in the dilution dissolvent and changing the content of dilution dissolvent, compound the water-based plastic gravure ink, to study these influencing factors of ink dryness and printing quality. The results show that, the content of the alcohol in the dilution dissolvent is the major effect on the water-based plastic gravure ink initial dryness; the content of dilution dissolvent is the major effect on the water-based plastic gravure ink full dryness; in addition the different types of resins and the proportion of alcohol and water have a great effect on ink performance and the printing quality.
Abstract: Using different long-chain alcohols (octanol, dodecanol, tetradecyl alcohol), maleic anhydride, allyl chloride, sodium bisulfite as the main raw materials, a series of polymerizable emulsifier--allyl-type sodium sulfosuccinic diesters have been synthesized in this paper. Through single-esterification and double-esterification, three diesters have been synthesized. The sulfonation conditions are as follows: using sodium maleic acid monoester as the phase transfer catalyst, sodium bisulfite and double-ester were allowed to react in the ratio of 1.0: 1.1 at 110°C for 4h in the solvent of a mixture of ethanol and water. The yield of sulfonation on sodium octyl sulfosuccinic diester and sodium dodecyl sulfosuccinic diester as well as sodium tetradecyl sulfosuccinic diester were 94.8%(Ⅰ), 96.78%(Ⅱ) and 93.6%(Ⅲ), respectively. All products were charac 4 terized by IR spectra and 1H NMR, and their surface properties were tested. The results showed that the surface properties of dodecyl sodium maleic acid monoester and tetradecyl sodium maleic acid monoester as well as sodium tetradecyl sulfosuccinic diester were better than lauryl sodium sulfate, and they were all suitable for being used as emulsifier.
Abstract: To survey the influence of ink fineness on the performance of the water-based cork paper bobbin gravure ink and improve the printing quality of ink, the water-based cork paper bobbin gravure inks with different pigment fineness were prepared and the viscosity of ink, glossiness of the printing proof, the abrasion resistance of ink film and other property parameters were tested. The research shows that the ink fineness has a great influence on the water-based cork paper bobbin gravure ink. If the ink fineness is bad, the ink would have a low viscosity. If the ink fineness is good, the glossiness of the printing proof and the abrasion resistance of ink film would be high.
