Study on Impinging Streams Reactor for Sewage Purification

A new type of sewage treatment experimental device is designed, and so is its main equipment-impinging stream reactor. The advantages of efficient mixing and uniform reaction in the current impinging stream reactor are maintained, while vibration, shaft sealing failure and other issues in the propeller-type impinging stream reactor are overcome. The experimental results indicate that the equipment was running cost-effective and easy to operate. The outlook of the impinging stream technology for sewage treatment is forecast.
