The constant photo-current method was used to study defect densities in the intrinsic layer of amorphous hydrogenated solar cells. Deconvolution of the constant photo-current spectrum, using a model for the defect density distribution in such material, yielded similar values for the defect density and the disorder parameter; for films and devices which had been deposited under the same conditions.
