The inelastic neutron scattering spectrum at 85K of a hydrofulleride sample, which had been quenched after preparation at 620K under a H pressure of 0.6GPa, was determined. The spectrum was also studied after an annealing process (300K, 35h) which reduced the H content by 1.4 H2 molecules per C60 unit. The quenched sample was shown to consist of C60Hx molecules, where x was of the order of 24, and of interstitial molecular H. The latter left the sample during annealing at room temperature, whereas the C60Hx molecules were stable at this temperature.
