A study was made of 107 boundaries in polycrystalline thin films. These films had a marked (111) texture, with a 4.8 mean deviation of the surface normal from [111]. The latter was designated as being the <111> direction which was closest to the foil normal. The greatest deviation of the foil normal from [111] was 11.2.
