Non-uniform displacements of Cu atoms in dilute interstitial solid solutions were studied within the framework of the microscopic phenomenological theory of interstitial solid solutions. The quasi-elastic Kanzaki forces and non-uniform static displacements of Cu atoms were calculated for the case of dilute interstitial solid solutions in the Cu-rich region. The results revealed a long-range nature of the deformational interactions in dilute Cu-C alloys.
