The dynamic interaction of dislocations, with the rotational degrees of freedom of C60 molecules, was analyzed. The results indicated that the main features of the temperature dependence of the micro-hardness in the face-centered cubic to simple cubic transformation region could be explained in terms of the contribution of the above interactions to dislocation drag during deformation.
