The first measurements were reported of implanted Pb diffusion in -Ti. At high implanted Pb concentrations (about 20at%), an initial non-equilibrium stage was observed within which no diffusion coefficient was obtained. In a second stage, when the Pb concentration had decreased due to diffusion and evaporation, the diffusivities (table 27) were deduced from profiles with a maximum depth of about 100nm.
