A stochastic lattice gas model was developed for treating classical charge transport in doped solids. In particular, an investigation was made of the diffusive dynamics of charged particles in an energy field that was produced by immobile centers, with the opposite charge, that were distributed randomly in space. The results of extensive Monte Carlo simulations were compared with experiments on ion conduction in alkali-doped network glasses.
