The damage which resulted from X-irradiation at 10 and 300K was investigated in pure and doped (Ce3+, Pr3+, Sb3+) material by means of magneto-optical and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. At low temperatures, VK centers and HA-type centers, as well as Pr4+ hole trap centers and F center electron traps, were identified.
