Radiation defects in a stainless steel and in a Ni alloy were investigated after D+ and He+ ion bombardment at 400C. The development of dislocation loops and pores was analyzed as a function of the ion fluence. It was found that unusual fractal-like dislocation loops were present after D+ bombardment.
