The energies of [001] boundaries were measured by using the dihedral angle method. The variation of the energy was determined, as a function of misorientation and inclination, for symmetrical-asymmetrical tilt and symmetrical tilt-twist mixed [001] boundaries. It was found that, in the case of the asymmetrical tilt boundaries, the energies did not change appreciably as a function of inclination. Shallow cusps were observed at angles of about 18 and 45. In the case of symmetrical tilt-twist mixed boundaries, the energies decreased (with maxima at about 30 and 60) as the inclination was increased from tilt to twist.
